The good news is, Angus T. UGH! Please pray for this kid. The fact that he's getting any press at all is surprising. The fact that he wants to make a statement in the first place is pretty amazing. And, here's the REALLY bad news... Angus has already been baptized into the SDA church! He has gone through the prophecy seminars and is diving into evangelism. He has already done a 30 minute interview with Connie Jefferey for a program called "Turning Point" for Voice of Prophecy, which I watched last night. You can watch it here VOP Interview His story and interview with "The Forerunner," (who is an SDA) was one of the top stories on my MSN home page this morning! This is actually make pretty big news. There is a link from that MSN story to the complete interview with "The Forerunner" where Angus mentions specifics such as the Sabbath, Sanctuary Doctrine, end time prophecies, etc... He even mentions that some of his family were concerned he was getting into a cult. As of this moment, that YouTube video has received 750,000+ hits! Most of the comments I've read under that video are positive and supportive of him. I saw a few that were clearly other SDAs, but most were just other Christians who are supportive of him taking a stand for Christianity. They have no idea of the dangers of Adventism... and neither does he. He clearly states on this video that everything is in the Bible and that he didn't feel tricked at all by what he was being taught. Here is a link to that video YouTube Interview I'd suggest that we start posting comments under that YouTube video that specifically challenge the listeners to research Adventism. Maybe comment specifically on what he said. The potential influence Angus has is scary and people need to know he has been deceived. Based on these interviews it appears to me that his focus has already shifted from the saving grace of Jesus to knowing "the truth" and to evangelism... He doesn't talk at all about what Christ has done for him and for the world. He has very clearly become a voice for Adventism first and for Christ, second. This is the subtle deception that most people don't even notice. This is the stuff that gets SDAs all excited... And speaking of that... having VOP and this "The Forerunner" guy jump all over him with interviews reminds me of just how hierarchical the SDA system is and how they only give attention to the people who will make them look good. All of a sudden his "testimony" is valued and worth recording and praising, but it's only because he is important and has a "name." It's not unlike the chain of name dropping that occurs in Adventism (like Connie Jefferey introducing herself as "Connie Vandeman Jefferey" so that we all know she's significant because she's a "Vandeman") or the status given doctors or people with money. He's a super-star in Adventism now because he's famous already and has money. But Adventism doesn't care a hoot about the other "lower-on-the-ladder people" in their churches who are not TV stars, doctors, wealthy, etc., whose conversion stories may be 1000 times more powerful than this one! Sick. This upsets me so much. There aren't words. It's hard to watch and my heart breaks for him. Let's all pray for Angus in earnest!! He needs deliverance. YouTube Interview Part 1 It's the same story that became more polished in the VOP interview... More "rough" and detailed. As of now, it has received 133,000+ hits. This interview makes it sound as though Adventism gave him the answer of how to be "real" Christian. Where's Jesus?? In true Adventism fashion, Jesus is missing. I remember as an Adventist feeling ok talking about God, but really uncomfortable talking about Jesus. Also, I forgot to mention in my previous post that Angus even says something like... "I'm not perfect... at least, not yet!" This is modern Adventism... no mention of EGW in any of these video clips, but her teachings are ringing loud and clear and promoted by him as coming straight from Scripture. | ||

Colleen, Richard, who all are in involved in running this site, may I link some of these people commenting on those youtube videos to this site? Like the person who posted about CFWPLM for example, I fully expect this 4runner guy to withhold all posts that speak against SDA and for Jesus Christ, so we may need to leave comments on peoples personal youtube channels. | ||

Saw this on Fox News today. Never have seen his show. I wonder if he found Jesus or religion? There have been many people made a big change in their lives after finding religion.
