I have had a rather interesting experience today. First, a little background. Late last fall it was discovered I was in need of cataract surgery on my left eye so the arrangements were made and I had the procedure done at a local eye clinic. The clinic and the personnel were very kind and extremely professional. Among other things the surgeon ask if it was ok to pray before being the surgery which of course I gladly agreed to. Not only did things go well without any complications but my eyesight, with corrective lenses, is now 20/20 in both eyes which I’ve never had since my left eye was damaged by another student in the third grade. Well, today I receive a letter and a book from the owner of the clinic. It turns out he has clinics all over the northwest including Alaska. The book was ‘The Richest Caveman’ which is the story of Doug Batchelor. I found an online link to this doctor and found he received his training at Loma Linda. When I read the bios of the other personnel I saw that most of the other doctors were also trained there. Anyway, there was a ‘contact us’ link so I emailed this doctor/owner with instructions on how to find my testimony and explained I was actively working to expose what I perceive to be wrong with Adventist doctrine. He just emailed me back and included the link he found and indicated he read my testimony. Oddly, he mentioned that it must have been painful to receive a book on the story of an Adventist. I smile because the real thing that brings me pain is knowing of all the real pain of those who are still trapped in that legalistic satanic inspired cultic heresy. Fearless Phil | ||

Wow, Phil. Isn't it amazing how God orchestrates things! When I hear things like this I think of Delina's blog about being a dot. If you haven't read it, you should! And when you were ready, He began to connect those dots to form a beautiful picture of salvation." God is sovereign, and I truly believe that you were a dot for this doctor!!
