Saw this on a Facebook post and because it was from a known Adventist I was curious- sounds like a Willow Creek type design but underneath still a prophesy centered Adventist church trying to reinvent itself- no mention of Adventist but clues are everywhere http://www.missioncatalyst.org/?s=Adventist - has anyone heard of this organization?

Ok so.. Now I see it is Adventist.... Posted before I read it fully Amazing what lengths some will go to not have to completely renounce false doctrine....

Wow! Talk about perfecting the "fleece" so that the "wolf" cannot be seen!

Mission Catalyst is officially not Adventist; Ron Gladden, the founder/director, retains Adventist beliefs, but he's started a "congregational" model of Sabbatarian churches that isn't funded by nor does it fund the official Adventist church. Gladden has wanted to become incorporated into the denomination, as I understand it, but that attempt at collaboration has failed.

So, it's officially not Adventist, but in worldview and practice, it essentially is.

Adventist Today ran a recent cover story featuring Ron Gladden.

So worldview and practice consistent with SDA in addition to desire/intent to belong to the denomination makes it Adventist and false gospel in a very real way- another example of, as Craig so nicely put it, an attempt to "whiten the fleece" to disguise the "wolf"... Still another gospel...again sad that an attempt to "reinvent" didn't lead this man into the truth instead of changing the outside form- Adventism is always about going from the outside in not the inside out

Sadly, yes. That about sums it up.
