"The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger forever.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins: nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear Him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions fro us.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
He knoweht our frame: he remembereth that we are dust. {sa;, 103:8-14.

"God hath made no promise unto us becauseof our worthiness, our merits, our good works: but for his own inexhaustible and eternal goodness and mercy's sake only." Luther on Galatians pg.317.

Unanswered Yet:

Unanswered yet, the prayer your lips have pleaded
In agony of heart these many years?
Does faith begin to fail? Is hope departing?
And think you all in vain those fallen tears?
You shall have your desire, sometime, somewhere.

Unanswered yet? Though when you first presented
This one petition at the Father's throne,
It seemed you could not wait the time of asking,
So urgent was your heart to make it known.
Tho' years have passed you, somtime, somewhere.

Unanswered yet? Nay do not say ungranted,
Perhaps your part is not fully done.
The work began when first your prayer was uttered.
And God will finish what He has begun.
If you will keep the incense burning there,
His glory you shall see, sometime, somewhere.

Unanswered yet? Faith cannot be unanswered!
Her feet are firmly planted on the Rock.
Amid the wildest storms she stands undaunted
Nor quails before the loudest thunder shock.
She KNOWS omnipotence has heard her prayer
And cries, It shall be done! Sometime, somewhere.

I love Romans the more I read and study it.
Rom. 5:17:
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

I wanted to share this beautiful Steven Curtis Chapman song with all of you. Hope you're as touched by it as I am.

I have come to this ocean
And the waves of fear are starting to grow
The doubts and questions are rising with the tide
So I'm clinging to the one SURE thing I know

chorus
I will hold on to the hand of my Savior
And I will hold on with all my might
I will hold loosely to things that are fleeting
And hold on to Jesus
I will hold on to Jesus for life

I've tried to hold many treasures
They just keep slipping through my fingers like sand
But there's one treasure that means more than breath itself
So I'm clinging to it with everything I am

chorus

Like a child holding on to a promise
I will cling to His word and believe
AS I press on to take hold of that
FOR WHICH CHRIST JESUS TOOK HOLD OF ME

chorus

Hold on for life

When God wants to drill a man and skill a man;
when God wants to mold a man to play the noblest
part, and when He yearns with His heart to create
so great and bold a man that all the world shall
be amazed, watch His method, watch His ways, how
He ruthlessly perfects whom He royally elects.
How He hammers him and hurts him with mighty blows
converts him into trial shapes of clay which God
understands and his tortured heart is crying and
he lifts beseeching hands, how He bends but never
breaks whom his good He undertakes. How He
uses whom He chooses and with every purpose fuses
him and by every act induces him to try His
splendor out. God knows what He's about.

I took a walk just the other day and was thinking
about my precious God. I came to the realization
that he is the most awsome supper hero that ever
existed. I can not even explaine the Power, Love,
humor, imagination, etc, etc. Just thinking about
what he has done and the way he has done it
fascinates me. MY GOD IS AN AWSOME GOD!
