How Does the SDA Clear Word Bible Compare to God's Word? Genesis 3:6-7

The Bible states that Adam was with Eve when she ate of the forbidden fruit. Adventism teaches that Eve wandered away from Adam and ran to find her husband after she ate of the fruit. Who do you believe?
Genesis 3:6-7 (King James Version)
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Genesis 3:6-7 (New International Version)
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Genesis 3:6-7 (SDA Clear Word Bible)
6 The woman saw how good the fruit looked as the serpent ate it. Suddenly she felt a strong urge to eat it, too. She took a bite and instantly felt a surge of energy. Excited, she took more fruit and ran to find her husband. When Adam saw her, he knew what she had done and also what the consequences would be. But in the blush of her excitement, she looked more beautiful than ever. He couldn't bear the thought of living without her, so he quickly took the fruit and ate it also.

7 As soon as he did, their eyes were opened to what they had done. The light they were clothed with disappeared and they stood there naked. For the first time they felt shame. They quickly took fig leaves and made coverings for themselves.

I saw that the holy angels often visited the garden, and gave instruction to Adam and Eve concerning their employment, and also taught them concerning the rebellion of Satan and his fall. The angels warned them of Satan, and cautioned them not to separate from each other in their employment, for they might be brought in contact with this fallen foe. The angels enjoined upon them to closely follow the directions God had given them, for in perfect obedience only were they safe. And if they were obedient, this fallen foe could have no power over them.

Satan commenced his work with Eve, to cause her to disobey. She first erred in wandering from her husband, next, in lingering around the forbidden tree, and next in listening to the voice of the tempter, and even daring to doubt what God had said--In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. She thought, Perhaps it does not mean just as the Lord said. She ventured to disobey. She put forth her hand, took of the fruit, and ate. It was pleasing to the eye, and pleasant to the taste. She was jealous that God had withheld from them what was really for their good. She offered the fruit to her husband, thereby tempting him. She related to Adam all that the serpent had said, and expressed her astonishment that he had the power of speech.

I saw a sadness came over Adam's countenance. He appeared afraid and astonished. A struggle appeared to be going on in his mind. He felt sure that this was the foe which they had been warned against, and that his wife must die. They must be separated. His love for Eve was strong. And in utter discouragement he resolved to share her fate. He seized the fruit, and quickly ate it. Then Satan exulted. He had rebelled in heaven, and had sympathizers who loved him, and followed him in his rebellion. He fell, and caused others to fall with him. And he had now tempted the woman to distrust God, to inquire into his wisdom, and to seek to penetrate his all-wise plans. Satan knew the woman would not fall alone. Adam, through his love for Eve, disobeyed the command of God, and fell with her.
Why does the Seventh-day Adventist Church officially promote this distorted Bible in the adult Sabbath School Lesson Quarterly?

Every word of God is flawless;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Do not add to His words,
or He will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

Gilbert,
You know how I think and feel about the clear word book. It is corrupted, deceptive and is outright blasphemous.

Perhaps because of The Clear Word book it will be easier to show serious Bible students how the SDA church has and still is distorting God's word when they see it compared with God's Word. We should pray that it becomes a tool for good results. "Joseph replied, "Don't be afraid. Do I act for God? Don't you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now—life for many people. Easy now, you have nothing to fear; I'll take care of you and your children." He reassured them, speaking with them heart-to-heart." Genesis 50:19-21 The Message

Gilbert, can you make the image at this LINK larger, so people can see that it says "The Clear Word. Clearly the best choice" ?? What nerve they have.

Many sda's shy away from it, so how could it be the "best choice" ?

You know what gets to me is all the preaching the sda's did about the jw's and catholics having their own bibles especially from the older members who used to compared the jw's bible with KJ and finding all their errors. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

The forerunners to the Jehovah's Witnesses came out of Adventism in 1879. Is it any wonder that they hold many similar beliefs? One good example is the teaching that Michael the archangel is God the Son.

Gail, What options are there really, if the clear weird is "Clearly the Best Choice"? All other choices are inferior, is what they are saying. They sell these books for $$, teaching what ought not be taught, clearly earning themselves a place in Titus 1, which I have posted many times.

10For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group.
11They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach - and that for the sake of dishonest gain.
12Even one of their own prophets has said, "Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons." 13This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith 14and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth.
15To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
16They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny Him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good
. Titus 1

I challenge anybody to correct St. Paul in this matter.
