If I still had ties to the SDA church I would say yes. But that is not always true. I do know that there is a SDA group that also goes by the group name of Present Truth Ministries but I don't think this is the same group. | ||

My goodness...she uses "anointed revelation and sound biblical doctrine" to help people hear the multi-faceted voice of God? Really? In other words, her anointed revelation is equally as useful and instructive as Scripture. The desire for "something more" is such a dangerous deception... Colleen | ||

It always makes me back up quick when I hear someone call themselves (or) someone calls them, a prophetess or a prophet. It just doesn't match up with my understanding of how God uses the manifestations of his spirit (gifts)as laid out in 1 Cor 12:1-11. To explain this let me give an example. In the military I had a top secret clearance, but that didn't mean I could walk into the pentagon and look at top secret documents, it was always on a need to know basis. Sort of on the same plain, my understanding is that God uses whom he will, where he will, when he will to edify the body of Christ. My experience in seeing many manifestations of the spirit upholds that concept. Not only that, but if it doesn't line up with the word, it is to be ignored. I just see all kinds of red flags here. For example, human nature is human nature, and like opinions, everybodys got one and people will start going to these people that call themselves prophets or prophetess's looking for answers to lifes questions that befall us every day, they will look to them for a word from God instead of seeking out God with prayerful bible study themselves. The Bible already tells us what we need to know, yet there are times when we feel the need to consult with our pastor or respected friend on some spiritual matter, decision and so fourth so I am not talking about that. I believe these people become dangerous to others as well as themselves. My advice, (glad you asked for it  ) Stay clear (or) if it stinks its probably something you don't want to step in. River | ||

It's striking to me that the biblical prophets never appointed/proclaimed themselves prophets. In fact, the OT prophets often were called by God, and they didn't want to do the job—but did when God equipped them. The job of "prophet" has never been popular, it seems.
