Thoughts on the latest Adventist World issue (www.adventistworld.org)? Ted Wilson's article Called To Proclaim reiterates the 3 angels messages and says Sabbathkeepers will be blamed for issues of events that occur in the last days and will be persecuted and imprisoned and he talks about Sunday law that will lead to ruin. In the same issue of the magazine is another article Discovering Spirit of Prophesy Ellen G White and fundamental beliefs by M. Burt, which trys to tell us that SDA beliefs come from the Bible and how EGW visions give us better understanding of the Bible. The article says the foundational doctrines of SDA are a result of careful Bible study. I read this stuff now and knowing all I know now see how ludicrous it all is!

Yes, these things ARE lies. The fact that the SDA founders could not understand the Bible and that EGW herself acknowledged she could not understand it, either...unless she was taken into vision—these facts confirm that they were not Christian. When a person is born again and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit makes His own word clear to the one who reads it.

It's amazing how SDAs twist the real truth about understanding Scripture and being taught by the Holy Spirit and create an illusion of special revelation to try to confirm their unique doctrines.

It is especially ludicrous here in the most religiously free country, with the exception of course of those who grew up in it. Even then there's opportunity to come up against the Biblical truth of the gospel, but alas, for many it is for "seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand". Luke 8.

Unfortuantly the SDA church hides it's cult like status behind the clothing of religion. Which makes it difficult for those trying to get out, since the lure is often very great.

These two links, gives an idea what the church is capable worldwide.

http://www.adventist.org/world-church/facts-and-figures/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seventh-day_Adventist_Church

It is interesting to note that the church that played a huge role in nazi germany but what is interesting they do not acknowledge the role of those medical doctors and medical researchers who took active part in the holocaust against the Jews, the disabled and everyone who was not part of the so called "master race". And these adventist's escaped punishments at the end of the war on religious grounds. That is what I call power, the ability to force the US government not punish the SDA Nazi's.

When I was student at colledge academy I turned in a research paper on EGW and Bible, The Bible teacher a respected elder of the Collegedale SDA Church threaten me with a failing grade if did not change it from Bible above EGW to EGW above the Bible, I refused and he gave me a F. Found out later he re-edited the paper changing my views to that of EGW was above the Bible, and changed the grade to D-.

In collegedale one time heard of a black family from Africa who had died after being told they need to change from meat eating to pure soy/veg diet. How did the church react? They did not fucking care... They said if those Blacks did not survive then God must have decided they were not worthy of Heaven.

I wonder does anyone even bother to warn others in other places of the world about the dangers of entering the SDA faith? If you all your life on a meat diet and then change to non-meat diet within two weeks, you putting your own in danger. It is not worth the risk and that poor black family of 6, 4 kids under the age of 9 and two adults, all dead because they were required to give up meat eating and change to non-meat eating in order to be accepted into the SDA faith.. (this was another reason decided to get out).

Thalarian~

I find your entire post #4 very interesting~ especially, the reference to
the 'sda' church and their relationship to Nazi Germany in WW11~

I would really appreciate any books, 'links', or other material that will
expand more on this topic~

It sounds like Collegedale sda church and school were doing their best to
hold the membership in an iron grip of 'FEAR'! :-(

It is all so sickening~I imagine if 'called' on this behavior today,
they would, deny, deny, deny!!!

Thalarian~

I forgot to mention in my post above the horror and disgust I feel regarding the
family from Africa and their untimely deaths; brought upon them
by the insane diet requirements of the sda church!

@Mjcmcook

Was doing a google + bing search on the very subject a few months back. Very interesting to read.

Though did find one site that have booked marked http://sdachurchhiddenholocaustclosets.blogspot.com/

Saddest part of this is that the SDA church did make a official statement but it was a very lukewarm statement and they totally ignored the request from the Nation of Israel for all the names of those who escape punishment. Nation of Israel considers the entire World Wide Church of SDA as a ENEMY OF GOD and Enemy of Israel.

Thalarian~

WHOA! This is an 'eye-opener' !

When you take an honest look at adventism, it really is like
pulling back the layers of an onion! the 'smell' is more intense and your eyes begin to
'water' (tears) more~

I am so grateful that GOD is the GOD of Justice and Love~

Mjcmcook:
"Nation of Israel considers the entire World Wide Church of SDA as a ENEMY OF GOD and Enemy of Israel."

Perhaps this is why Muslims are finding a connection with the SDA church, that is beside the diets, clean dressing and lack of Christ as fully God in the Adventist church. Just my thoughts.
