Just wanted to give you an update, dear brothers and sisters.

Since having been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God's beloved Son over three years ago, I have since "officially" left Adventism and was baptized this summer and am attending a local church, in addition to studying theology at the Master's Seminary. Praise God!

This year has probably been the hardest of my life, especially since leaving Adventism. I could go on and on about the various trials and headwinds my family and I have gone through. But I thought I might instead share with you a thought that has popped in my head at numerous key moments this year.

"So this is what Christianity is like..."

I was sitting in my discipleship lab and my seminary professor shed tears while sharing with us his testimony of salvation. And at that moment, I think to myself, "So this is what Christianity is like..."

As I'm attending Shepherd's conference and hearing men bury their heads in their palms at hearing the gospel again, just as if they had heard it for the very first time...

"So this is what true Christianity is like..."

As I'm sitting in church listening to stories of missionaries selflessly sharing Christ throughout the world...

"So this is what Christianity is like!"

Kaspars

It's overwhelming, isn't it, Kaspars? I still remember my amazement when I saw grown men cry during communion or when they were emotional about the Lord Jesus. There is nothing in our past experience to prepare us for the reality of knowing Jesus or of seeing others' reactions to Him when they know Him.

It's absolutely amazing.

Thanks for sharing that thought! His grace and mercy are overwhelming in view of who suffered in our place.

The Masters Seminary! I'm impressed. Under the guidance of John MacArthur, you can't go terribly wrong there! Good for you!

I am always amazed at the love that flows in many Christian churches and among the women in particular. Recently I attended a women's conference and the women were so friendly, it just blew me away!
