If this word doesn't apply to you, don't pay any attention to it:

I was listening to a message from Perry Stone today on why the Warfare isn't Working and it is an awesome word that really opened my eyes to some things. If you want to hear it you can go to:

http://www.perrystone.org/audio_messages.cfm
and click on Why the Warfare Isn't Working

I want to confess here to all of you that I have unknowingly held resentement and unforgiveness for my SDA past and towards people in my past. I didn't consciously know it as I have asked God to forgive all of them, but in arguing and strife and contention I have held on to it. It is time for me to let the Holy Spirit do a work on people's lives as they will permit Him to. I spend too much time trying to show people my point of view and my beliefs. Let the Lord deal with them all, the battle is His, not mine.

Love yall!
Sabra

Sabra, I think I am like you as well, I have really been letting things bother me that are clearly sent from the devil, and my BellSouth failure problem was an anwer from God in that I now have MSN that will not only block unwanted emails from going to the delete folder, it will stop it dead in its tracts with their great filtering system that actually looks for anything that so much as looks like the same person trying to get their mail through from "different" email addresses, pretty smart program and praise God what a blessing, it has already paid for itself.

I won't be spending much time in the forum this weekend but did want everyone to know that I am working on some editorials that I will be putting into my web site. My site is all about grace and what better place to study about grace than the Pauline Epistles, the book of Romans is tremendous, even better than Acts, which I thought was a pretty hard act to follow. My studies on pride and arrogance and humility have been a great sourse of information as well. God can do wonders in our lives if we are just willing to allow him to work through us.

I have been tried this week but praise God for his word found in 1Cr 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

And will end by posting this from Romans 5:
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Thank you Sabra for posting your remarks, they were just like God, RIGHT ON TIME.

God bless,
Janice

P.S. for Sabra, this month's www.intouch.org web site is all about "The Power Of Persistence" and is a great place to study for the task at hand, amen.

Sabra, I downloaded MSN 8 so maybe you need to try and download an update. This thing is great, does yours not have an icon for junk mail? Anyway, I had to reboot from my system recovery disk and had it not been for my having gone to MSN and exported my addresses to it, they would have all been gone but since it was on the Internet instead of Outlook, I didn't have to worry about it, I do still have some folks that I need to call and have them send me a test mailing just so I can get them back in the list and Sabra, Denise, Brad, and Angie I lost yours, let me know if you want put back on my mailing list, okay?

Not much going on here today other than fooling with the reboot. I don't have but about fifty disks that I need to go through AGAIN for a reinstall. I did change my local and long-distance service from BellSouth to Excel and got the information on how to use the features today. The new service even has anonymous call reject that will stop all those annoying automated dialing from "unknown caller" and even has a feature that I can use to hear a distinctive ring for certain individuals, so, if I hear two short rings, I can say "honey, it your mom" or one short ring for my mom, etc. I think I will like all of the changes once I get them going. Oh well, guess I need to get a bite to eat before it gets too late.

God bless and good night to all.

Janice

Well, there's my problem, I can't download the 8 because my CD drive is broken. I need to get this thing fixed!

What's your new address? I know you posted it but I don't remember where.

Gotta go to bed, big church day tomorrow, we are having church at the trade center all 6000 of us, with 27 serving line buffet and Bro. Ron said there wasn't going to be any foo foo food, no quiche he said, biscuits and gravy and sausage and krispy kreme doughnuts, he said if you don't like krispy kreme, I don't think you're saved.LOL

Too bad I'm on the low carb diet so I can't have any doughnuts! :(

Sabra, I think I have told you before that you are not to use the word "Krispy Kreme". Shame on you for getting my mouth all watered up this morning. Well, my church is about to come on the radio, so, I want to catch that. Please e-mail me at JaniceLumpkin@msn.com. Brad, Denise, and Angie I think I forgot to give the address to you too, sorry about that.

Don't eat too much Sabra, nothing better than a good fellowship with food, amen?

Janice

There was a lady healed today that was deaf! It was a great service. I ate bacon and eggs since I'm on the protein diet but the rest of the food sure looked good!
