Does anyone know of a former adventist fellowship group in the Carolinas? There is one advertised on this website but nobody answers their emails--in fact they come back undeliverable. (FAF should remove that reference from the site.) I would love to attend one if it was within driving distance of Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto! ;-)

But I'd be travelling from Greensboro, NORTH Carolina...

I hope this group hasn't completely evaporated.

Hi Mrcato,

Where in SC do you reside? How long have you been out of SDAism? I made my debut 3 years ago and nearly shocked the pants off the conservative members who thought that I would always be a pillar of the church. Hey I even shocked myself! (They especially did a double take when they saw me in earrings!) It's been refreshing if for no other reason to escape the weekly depressing sermons that are the hallmark of the Spartanburg SDA church. Now if I even THINK about setting foot inside that church, I get a sick feeling. They are just not preaching the gospel AT ALL. Funny but unlike some of the posts on this site, I haven't been ignored or denounced or whatever--although I'm sure they are all praying for me! I still have friends from there that I occasionally socialize with and I'm in fact one of the hostesses for a bridal shower this coming Thursday. Anyway, let me know..............

HI Mr Cato,

Meaning you were never SDA? Praise be! You don't have to strip your mind of all the garbage that I have had to. Do you have any associations with the SDA's in Columbia? I know several quite well and would love to compare notes with you some time. I don't know if we're allowed to give our personal email addresses on this site but in case we are, contact me at nutradoc@charter.net.
