It seems there is an ongoing experiment with "lawlessness" in traffic... what happens when there are no stoplights or traffic signs in town?

Interesting. This seems to relate quite strongly to SDA questions about "what happens when you do away with the 10 commandments?"...

Jeremiah, thank you for an excellent analogy for adventism! When everything in securely in place (legally), we are subject to the law. We don't have to concern ourselves with how we treat each other, heck, we don't even need God so much because we got it all. We can go around drawing salvific lines all over the place and all over people. If, however, we are dead to the law, we must pause to see our dependence on God and on each other.

I must confess that there are a couple lights here in Boulder that I run routinely when there aren't any other cars. Are the lights valid when there's nobody there? Hmmmm...
