I know that Sabbath is a subject that sometimes seems almost to be beaten to death, but Nowisee sent me a link to a really, really good study on some of the more thorny Sabbath arguments and examples. it's biblical and very insightful, and I recommend it. it's not shallow, and it's not repetitive of what we've heard. SDAs don't need to be afraid to study this out, because truth will always stand up to error - every time! It seems as though people don't want to study things for fear of being deceived, and that's why there are so many people in all the cults! They're raised or deceived into the false religion and since their religion is false, things don't completely add up. They tell themselves that it's because they just don't "understand" everything yet, so they're threatened by anyone telling them anything different then what they believe. Now I'm NOT comparing SDAism to Islam (though the people in each are both trying to earn salvation - which ends in eternal death;) - but if the Islamic terrorists had studied to see if Islam REALLY was true, they'd have never flown those airplanes into the buildings on 9/11. They certainly know the truth now! |
