This morning I received an email from Spectrum Magazine. What caught my eye is about the Spiritual Renaissance Retreat. What really caught my eye was the statement "Adventism is trying to call for a new and more biblically faithful vision for the future. Hmmm, I really wonder what the SDA church is really trying to do. If they really want to become more biblical they need to give up the doctrine of the Sanctuary Service/Investigative; Ellen White, the state of the dead (let's see what else); maybe the Sabbath; maybe the dietary laws. What else can we add to this list? Before I forget here's the link for your reference.http://spectrummagazine.org/blog/2013/01/08/cracks-adventist-fundamentalism-report-spiritual-renaissance-retreat I do know what sparked the discussion: It's the ordination of women into the ministry. I just wonder if they knew that (according to history)Ellen White has pastoral credentials. So why are they putting up a fight in the ordination of women into the ministry. Who knows? |

For an honest Adventist, the first step toward the truth begins by finding the exit door. |
