Monty Python is alive and well.....

The Muslim Brotherhood is claiming that Adly Mansour, new head of Egypt, is secretly SDA ( which they equate to being Jewish ).

The article claims that Mansour is “considered to be a Seventh Day Adventist, which is a Jewish sect” (in fact, Seventh Day Adventism is considered part of Protestant Christianity).

The only thing left to round this out, would be for someone to show up claiming he was also secretly a jesuit [ if you've never lived thru a conversation like that at Southern or AU or anywhere like that then you won't get it.... ]

I read the article. Seems to me the author doesn't know two bits worth of most anything. They are all poor specimens of humanity

It's crazy, isn't it? Adventism really is politically connected in many surprising ways. Below that whitewashed surface is a depth of entanglements that would surprise the average person in the pew.

I'd be completely shocked if any of the allegations were true. I just found it funny in that they were confused with Judaism on the one hand and allegedly part of some conspiracy for power on the other.

I wonder if the illuminati actually LIKES Adventists, unlike how much SDAs think they are against them?

Well, I wouldn't be too shocked. Adventists have high-profile political connections in some countries. The president of Jamaica, for example, is an Adventist.

Of course, I can't prove any of the allegations re: the Egypt story. I'm just sayin'...

Isn't Korea's president or vice president SDA?

On a tangent but still within the scope of this threads relativity:

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 actually protects the discriminatory acts of adventist institutions. I have often wondered if they had any influence in the writing.

I think they do work behind the scenes.

Park Geun-Hye is the president of South Korea. She has no religious affiliation. She was baptized Roman Catholic many years ago.
South Korea doesn't have a vice-president. They do have a prime minister though. I am not sure what his affiliation is.

Yes, the head of Jamaica is SDA. SDAs have a HUGE presence in the Caribbean.
