I'd like to put down a few verses for any Adventists reading this:

What the Old Covenant is: "And He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone." Deuteronomy 4:13

Who the Old Covenant was given to: "And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, “Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the rules that I speak in your hearing today, and you shall learn them and be careful to do them. The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. Not with our fathers did the Lord make this covenant, but with us, who are all of us here alive today." Deuteronomy 5:1-3

What the sign of the Old Covenant was: "And the Lord said to Moses, “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you." Exodus 31:12-13

That a New Covenant has come in: "And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood." Luke 22:20 (see also Hebrews 9:15-16)

What happened to the Old Covenant: "In speaking of a new covenant, He makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away." Hebrews 8:13

I would suggest that you read the New Covenant [New Testament] to see whether or not the Sabbath was carried over into the New Covenant brought into effect by Jesus' death.

Here's a verse that says it doesn't matter if one keeps a day: "One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind." Romans 14:5

What happened to all the Sabbath shadows: "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ." Colosians 2:16-17

And what is the Seal for God's people now? "In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit" Ephesians 1:13-14

It's nice to "see" you again, Stevendi! :-)

I know that World Net Daily teaches that Saturday is the Sabbath. They're right that the day has never been changed to Sunday (or Friday, or Monday for that matter). They're mistaken though that the Sabbath is a day in the New Covenant. It's not a day anymore. It's a Person Jesus!

(Oh and by the way, anyone who "keeps" Sunday is doing the exact same thing that SDAs are doing - keeping a day instead of Resting in Jesus! Both are equally wrong!)

Remember the Israelite man in the Old Testament who was picking up sticks on the Sabbath and ended up paying for it with his life? He was working when he should have been resting and it earned him death.

Today we should be Resting in the FINISHED work of Jesus. Those who are working for salvation when they should be Resting in Jesus will earn eternal death.
