Again today I received a mailing from the "Central California Conference" This time with a handy dandy postage paid return envelope to mail them a donation to their "Evangelism Department" and a 2 page letter telling all the wonderful "works" they are doing...
So instead of just putting it in the shredder as I usually do,, I decided to respond and mail it back in their nice prepaid envelope.
Sirs,
I am no longer a SDA.
I have NO intention of returning.
I AM a Christian.
I believe in the BIBLE ONLY.
Please remove me from all future mailings.
Kinda funny (but not really) I stopped attending the SDA church a few years ago and not a single person phoned, wrote, emailed or tried to contact me in any way to see if I was ok, or find out why I was no longer attending..... BUT I still, almost on a weekly basis receive mail requesting that I send money. Sad $$ is so important.
I asked for my name to be removed from membership a few years ago and was TOLD it had been done, even though this latest solicitation letter begins with "Dear Central California family member"
Please REMOVE my name from membership as I do not wish to be associated with the SDA denomination in any way, shape or form.

Excellent, Francie! Every prepaid envelope that comes to my mom's home (she no longer pays attention to them) is sent back on their dime, with an article from a certain magazine enclosed! Ha! |
