Gary Inrig has been teaching through the book of Galatians in our weekly Loma Linda Word Search studies every Thursday night. Here is a link to his lesson covering Galatians 3:26-4:11. In it he explains that returning to the law after meeting Jesus is the same as if the Galatians had gone back to paganism. He explains that there is a demonic power at work in returning to the law on this side of the cross.

He addresses Sabbath-keeping, including Sunday sabbatarianism, head-on and says it has no place in a believer's life. In this video you will also hear the questions from some of the audience...questions we understand so well--except these are being asked by the evangelical Christians there who have never had to unpack their relationship to the law as we have had to do.

This is an AMAZING lesson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9TQh5rfNbc

I have been reading and studying Galatians again, using a concordance I bought at church by a Jon Courson. I learn so much each time I read the Bible.

Colleen,I hate to be so ignorant,or techie-challenged,but I am,so is there a way I can listen to Gary's messages in sequence? Galatians has a special meaning for me(and a lot of others)because that is when I finally said no more,You have to make a clean break with Adventism. I have been gone most of the summer and my computer was having problems so I haven't been able to watch before . so good! Peggy

I enjoyed the video. I wanted to perhaps remark on the part he was talking about in Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

God gives us the same Holy Spirit when we are born again be we young or old, woman or man, and there is no division whatsoever in the Holy Spirit. We are born again by that selfsame Holy Spirit. So the Holy Spirit in us makes us all one, and equal. It is when the flesh gets in the way that there begins divisions.

Yes, Benevento. Go to www.LomaLindaWordSearch.com. Click on "Media", and select "Galatians". On that page you will find them in order from the bottom up. The most recent one is on top.

Oh, good! These have been the most amazing studies. I've never heard an evangelical pastor preach so clearly about the proper relationship of the believer to the law—that the law has no jurisdiction over the believer. If we go back to the law at all, we fall from grace, to use Paul's words.

And stay tuned; Gary begins a series going through the book of Revelation on October 2!

Colleen,

I would really appreciate it if you would respond at length to the thread "Is the Pope the AntiChrist?"

Thanks
