Do SDAs tend to vote for non-conservative political leaders? If so, could this be because such leaders are less likely to promote the passage of Sunday laws?

Interesting question. My parents were always conservative. Never discussed politics with another SDA.

I used to think most SDAs were wary of the Religious Right, seeing a religious-poilitcal power that reminded them of Revelation Seminars. But lately, many of the politically conservative posts/emails I receive are from SDA friends and relatives. So I'm not sure anymore.
