OK, so they may not like to hear from us, but there is a discussion brewing on an Adventist Facebook page after a page administrator posted a Christianity Today article that stated that while 1 in 3 Adventists leave the organization it is NOT over doctrinal issues. Of course the Adventists in the FB room are telling themselves that we never understood Adventism. If you want a chance to be heard by these people who are being lied to by the organization and to let them know that in fact there is a community of people out there who love Jesus and who once thought like they did here is a chance. Oh, good grief! I'll check out the discussion...but these reports (I noticed it was from 2013 but it's just now getting attention) are so misleading! Christianity Today treats Adventism as if it were a real Christian church. It's past editor was a former Adventist pastor turned Episcopalian, I believe, and from everything I read, he was no longer SDA or sabbatarian, but he remained somewhat sympathetic to Adventism. Thanks Mj; I've been spending all my time on Facebook, but yesterday I couldn't get into it anymore. It's like they took down my access, but I have no idea why... maybe I was too vigorous in defending the gospel! I had lots of Seventh-day Adventists, Catholics and one Muslim to argue with! I think I'll try to get into facebook again... maybe in a few days. | ||

Interesting article, however I did stop going to the SDA church due to doctrinal conflicts with the EGW Dogma vs the Bible Doctrines.. |
