My fire alarm in the front room started dying and starting a chirping sound. Today I went to the fire station near home to make sure that is what is was. The fire captain offered to come over with his men to change all the alarms in my house. He did not make it so the captain of the next crew came over with his men and changed them. They both told me to stay off my ladder as it is wobbly. That was so sweet of them. I was told they do this frequently for senior citizens. So, I thank God for the firemen and all they do. It turned out that the captain of the crew that came over knows my sister's boys who are policemen. Small world!!! Thank you awesome God for the firemen.

Yes, bless the fireman. My 22 year old son was just hired on by the city as a fire fighter! He starts tomorrow and is very excited. I am happy that he is happy but I will have to really pump up the praying for his safety! Thanks for sharing how they helped you Diana. :-)

Right after 9/11 my son sent me an email. In it he said that firefighters and policemen face life threatening situations more then he does, being in the Air Force. He is very thankful for our firefighters and policemen. So am I.
Tell you son thank you for me and that I appreciate him very much.
