Hello, all. New to this milieu...(rhyme)..retired Jan. 2006 from SDA teaching (1 teacher grade school, upper NY), and retired from SDA just a couple of months ago after much Bible study, self searching, and other stuff.. It's now becoming so very clear just how much I inserted EGW stuff into ALL my study, and thinking. But I'm not sure how to uninsert since it's such an ingrained thing at this point. My daughter (also of this forum) and I have had many long discussions on all of this. She really likes the forum, finding it to be heartening and challenging to her thinking. Also welcome to Wearingpurple, God will do the uninserting.He's good at uninserting, if it got serted he can unsert it. If it got grained, God can ungrain it. Dear Jesus, I ask for Cathy's sake that you ungrain what she got grained in her early on. I ask it in faith believing on your name. Do I sound like one of your grade schoolers? Cathy, Welcome to FAF. Just leave the fixing and unfixing to God. Just recognize it as yours and that it needs fixing. God will show you how to unfix/fix whatever. That is one of the many reasons I call Him an Awesome God. Diana L | ||
