I want to share our worship pastor's latest blog entry. Bill Born presented one of the Christianity EDU sessions at the FAF weekend, and he made an iTunes worship mix especially for us FAF-ers as he was preparing for this class. This worship mix includes all the songs we sang in church that Sunday, Feb 15, as well as others he selected. This link includes his blog with notes explaining why he chose each song. I think you'll enjoy reading it--and the mix is excellent; you can purchase the songs for $1.00 each online. Those of you who attended his class will remember how moving it was. I attended Bill Born's class and it was particularly moving. Then, to see Bill lead worship Sunday morning at Trinity, was the proof that God has moved into his heart and out through the music and lyrics, permeating the Worship Center with the sweet and Holy Presence of The Spirit. That Presence has been with me this entire week. I woke up this morning knowing my spirit had been singing "In Christ Alone" all night long. FAF Weekend is appropriate for the curious SDA as well as for the former SDA. I hope and pray that the FAF Weekend will happen again next year and that many more people will be able to attend. Oh, Colleen and Richard, I, too, congratulate you on your 20 years of married life! | ||
