Hi, all! The audio track of Paul Carden speaking at the opening meeting of the FAF weekend is now online. More audio will be available tomorrow.

Everyone needs to hear this talk. Paul was direct and amazingly pointed in his analysis of SDA evangelism, methods, and deception. You will also see a few pictures from this weekend on this page as well. You can access the audio here:
http://www.formeradventist.com/weekends/fafweekend2009.html

Enjoy!

You all looked like you were having a blessed time.

I feel a little cheated. a little like the bus went off and left me. A little like the family left me home alone. I am happy for everyone.

But I bow to his will.
As we used to say PTLA
I look forward to hearing the message.

Jdpascal, Richard's changing the format. Right now it's in iTunes, but he's working on it now.

River, some year you'll just have to try to join us!

Colleen--Very timely for me--I have an appointment with the Head pastor of our church tomorrow. He knows almost nothing about SDA and this is one of the largest churches in our area.
I had the opportunity to talk with a former Lutheran who attended
the Revelation seminar, and was considering joining. I gave him
Dales book about "the Truth. . " and I copied the blurb on this
website about Revelation seminars--he found them both very helpful and declined to be baptized--then I wondered if it is
coprighted? I am not sure. Then we spent an evening briefly going through the covenants with Clay Peck's book. I gave them that as well, since we barely skimmed the surface. He called our
pastor and the pastor said he thought SDA was like any other
church--so I called and made an appt. to talk to him. I am
praising God for their decisions and an opening to talk to my pastor.
Also they are anxious to help others know the truth about Adventism!! I'll give the pastor this web site when when I
see him tomorrow. Peggy

Great, Peggy! The material you copied online about the Revelation seminars is for you to use as you need. That's why it's there.

With prayers for your pastor,

Peggy, God has opened a way for you to show your pastor about adventism. God prompted me to do that in 1995 when I gave 6 books to our senior pastor written by Ratzlaff, Taylor and others.
Thank you awesome God.

There's another sound file up! Brian Cain's faith story from Friday night is up. You'll love it—it's poignant, it'll make you laugh, and it's a clear illustration of God's persistent work on a heart that didn't know, at first, that it needed to be reborn.

The audio file from Gary Inrig's talk on Saturday morning of the FAF weekend is now online here: http://www.formeradventist.com/weekends/fafweekend2009.html

Gary Inrig is the senior pastor at Trinity Church who has been the pastoral advisor of the local FAF ministry since its inception 10 years ago. Gary is remarkable in that he is an evangelical pastor who GETS the problems with Adventism.

In this talk he uses 2 Corinthians 11 as his text, and he directly addresses issues of false prophets and teachers and of deception masquerading as goodness.

Enjoy!

I just listened to Paul Carden's opening presentation. The running time was 29:50 but it seemed to just stop somewhere in the middle. Is there more to the talk that didn't get included in the posting?

Oh brother - I was listening to last year's presentation from Paul Carden (and wondering why it sounded so familiar). I am on the right one now, and yes, it's all in one 42: minute talk. Sorry for any confusion I might have caused.

I just finished listening to Brian Cains's Christ-centered testimony. It is very encouraging to hear reports of God's sovereign intervention in the lives of those adopted into His wonderful family. Grace makes us adopted children, and a works mindset makes us foster children--never quite sure if the Father will turn His back and reject us.

Brian, thank you for sharing your journey with Jesus. Heaven's angels most likely folded their wings and listened intently to every word--a testimony that not even an angel can share. To God alone belongs all the glory!

Just to let you know that Bill Born's Christianity.EDU session is now online. His talk was "Biblical worship and praise as the antidote to fear, doubt, and depression." Bill is the worship pastor at Trinity church. His session was deeply moving as he explored the lament psalms which present their complaints to God, then turn at the end and praise God for His steadfast love, justice, and faithfulness.

More audio is up. Carolyn Ratzlaff's story is up. Her autobiography was released at the FAF weekend, and all attendees received it. It's available through Dale's online store at www.LifeAssuranceMinistries.com

Dale's first talk, "Living the Eternal Kind Of Life" is also up. Check them out at http://www.formeradventist.com/weekends/fafweekend2009.html

Bill Ziprick, former legal counsel for Loma Linda University whose faith story is online from last year's FAF weekend, introduced them—his introduction is also online.

Thoroughly enjoying the recordings. I loved those three word answers at the end of the Friday night Q&A session!
