Observant Facebook friends . . . I wish to thank each of you that posted comments on Marilynn and my Facebook pages about our change in status. Each comment was appreciated and read with care but I must be honest there were some from FAF and Facebook friends that were more than special. There are some members here that I will always read what they have to say because I know I'll be blessed and enriched and grow in my faith. THANKS. Friendships that are developed over the internet are different from those we have face to face, but are never the less important. We can still lift each other up and encourage and be a blessing to one other. I know Marilynn was touched that some of you took the time to come to her Facebook page and leave a comment even though she is not on FAF. If truth be know she is not on the internet much at all. I do not have the time to be deeply involved in the discussions here but I am blessed by many of you. Richard, I'm not on Facebook and have absolutely no idea what a status change is - but congratulations! I am so happy for you! Marilyn is one lucky duck! Thanks to all of you for your thoughts. This has been an awesome week. I've immersed myself in worship, reflection and sort of floated through the week. Friday evening Marilynn and I attended the church Bob attends in Corona for Good Friday services. No words were spoken except in the music which was combined with scripture texts on the screen. I was moved to tears of joy and a sense of His presence all evening. In the lobby of the church they had the stations of the cross portrayed through art, probably done by church members. Bob might know the source. It was Wednesday that I asked Marilynn to marry me. We have both sensed where the relationship was going but I took her by surprise with how I did it and the timing. I have been truly blessed this week. Tomorrow Marilynn and I will attend Easter services where I'm a member. richard rtruitt@mac.com . | ||

Thanks Raven and Tkmommy, reality has still not set in. I remember the day after I asked her, we were talking about getting something for my sister and I turned to Marilynn and said lets get one for US, I paused and asked Marilynn do you realize what I just said?
