Thanks Everybody,

I am just back from the afternoon meeting to check on Jan's insulin. UPS hasn't arrived at the motel yet and Jan in totally out. I am here in the lobby awaiting for UPS.

Things went well but the turnout was light. Dale and I got a chance to talk before the meeting. Seems Dale preached his first sermon as a new SDA preacher at the same church where I was batized as a twelve year old Adventist. What a small world.

This morning five of us at the motel had a long breakfast in the motel courtyard. What a joy Handmaiden is.

Colleen,
I am still not seeing Atlanta on the schedule here or at LAM website. I see Huntsville Alabama on August 4-5, but no Atlanta! Im hoping this is an oversight. We want you all here in Atlanta!

Lori, I totally goofed. I wrote "Atlanta" instead of "Alabama". (I know—totally ditzy! I put us in a totally different state!)

I'm so sorry...

I think it was a prophetic statement, and that you are supposed to come to Atlanta!

If we are going to be prophesying here, I dreamed last night that they had come to Orlando, But I didn't dream the date or place. Could you update me on that?

Thanks,

Hec

Just a little update on the venue in Berrien Springs. The senior pastor mentioned the meetings by Dale and Paul Carden in his announcement time during Sunday service.

Also, the senior pastor even mentioned Dale Ratzlaff in his sermon. He wove in that Dale will be talking about the 4th commandment, etc. ... I was pretty amazed.

Next week another former will be presenting at all the ABF's in this church about Adventism and there will be a Q. and A. afterwords. The senior pastor wants to pique the members interest so they will come to the meetings. And most of the members know someone who is SDA. This is SDA land. I'll be helping with the Q. and A.

Lets keep praying for all the venues and even the venues that have already heard Dale. May the Holy Spirit keep rumbling in the minds of those that came and those who had opportunity to talk with the Tinkers and Ratzlaffs after the programs.

Another plug for Atlanta--
General Conference here in 2010. Churches in Georgia and the southeast have been gearing up evangelistic efforts in preparation for this.

Praying for you all, and all your efforts at spreading the gospel.

We just arrived home safely from Roseburg. Thanks for all the prayers. What a treat to meet two more wonderful people like River and Handmaiden. River glad to hear you made it home to get your work done and thanks again for the books, we enjoyed reading them on the way home. Phil and Jan stay safe on the road.

Hec and Lori,

I sooo feel for you! When all those other reunions were taking place, I wanted to be there, too. In the meantime, how about finding a friend or two and coming to Michigan? We could sure use the tourism - and summer is really nice here.

We would so like to meet you! (I'm speaking for everyone who is coming to Berrien.)

Please - both of you, consider this a warm, personal invitation. Any way you can come?

Thinking of you!

Or, here's a warm, personal invitation to come to Dayton (Miamisburg) Ohio - it's closer than Michigan! And it's on a weekend, making it a little easier to mesh with work schedules. Although I would agree the summer is really nice in Berrien Springs, having lived there for 4 years.

thanks for the invites, I would dearly love to meet you! And I hope it is this side of heaven!

However, if I am traveling, it would more likely be the beach! Hec, I may be in Orlando this summer as well, as I have family there.

Hey, I have family near Orlando, too. They're actually in Lakeland (Southeastern University).

If you all can't make it to Michigan, maybe we can meet in Orlando. After our meeting we can go get to know each other at Disney - Universal (one of the parks) - love it there!

It would still be great if you all could come to Michigan - Animal, too!

Hi Lori,

Yea, Mark Rutland was a Great preacher (and leader). It was a real loss to the school when he left. There are still really great people there though. I've gone to a few chapels that were amazing. I'd like to tell you who my brother is, but need to remain annonymous on the forum at least for now. If you know Mark, you may know him. Both my brother and sister-in-love work there.

It is a godly place. I'm going down to see them in a few weeks. They just adopted a two year old who is just the cutest thing this side of the mississippi. Their 11 year old is adorable, too. I have to go spoil them a little bit.

I was serious though. I'd love to meet the southern group of formers. We could probably even meet at Southeastern (before Disney and Busch and Sea World and the ocean). :-)

Hec, I'm not sure what you're wondering, but do consider coming to Michigan. Maybe we could have a casual get to know each other in Florida. I'll only be there for a week + or - a few days. There seem to be several formers in that area - but get the fam together and come to Berrien Springs. It'll be fun! I've never met a real live FAF former before, but you all seem like you're a lot a fun - and the meetings will be great, too.

i am so glad that i was able to go to Roseburg and meet more of my family in the Lord.
I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Phil and his wife Jan; and Lifeanew - Bob and Jan at breakfast.
It was a wonderful blessing to see how the Lord Jesus is working in each of our lives and what He is teaching each of us.
i was very impressed by Phil's love and care for his wife and by Bob and Jan's trust in the Lord to provide for them day by day.
It was such a blessing to share our hearts and to see the beauty of the Lord reflected in each of their faces.
River i wanted to thank you again for the gift of your books. i am enjoying reading your stories and wish we had more time to visit together.

i was disappointed at the very small seminar attendance ...but then Dale reminded me that Jesus had only 12 disciples and they turned the world upside down. :-)
His presentation was very interesting and informative. The Spirit of Christ was on him and his heart for those trapped into the cult of sda was very evident.
i learned about the 5 "gospels" that members of the sda camp in. i was particularly interested in the 1888 message as it seems to be the closest to the truth
and yet still manages to keep people focused on their own performances instead of Jesus.
i was shocked to find out that the sda church is the second largest promoter of abortion just behind planned parenthood!!!!!!!!
The more i learn of this cult the more amazed i am that it passes for just another protestant denomination!!!!!!!!!!

i am praying that soon it will be as well recognised as a cult as the lds and jw's.

i made it back in plenty of time for the homeschool graduation ceremony.
It was a precious time of celebration as one by one the graduates stood to give their testimonies of faith in Jesus Christ and honor their parents.
The presence of the Lord filled the room and i am sure that everyone there felt His touch and left there blessed.
I pray the lives of unbelieving family members will forever be impacted by this simple gathering where the name of Jesus was lifted high.

much love to all
handmaiden
