I was shocked, amazed, amused, then glad...

blog attacking our Proclamation testimony

Really, he's attacking LAM, and twisting our testimony to do it.. but I am jumping up and down for joy... really. This is what they did to Jesus, lied about Him, twisted His words, and called Him a lawbreaker. He said we would be blessed when they did it to us too... and I SOOOO am.. =) I had to share it with the world. Finally.. some enemies to love and pray for.

I have people who are strongly irritated with me... but never to the point of this.. it's great!

Blessings to everyone out there in cyberworld today. May you stand for Jesus too, and find the joy in it!!

I will praise God with you and will love and pray for him..

The poor guy has that veil down so tight over his eyes all he can do is flounder around, twist words and make poor attempts at bad jokes.

I couldn't get past this sentence without laughing:

quote:

This blog has one purpose: to defend Seventh-day Adventists against the attacks of an organization called “Life Assurance Ministries” (variously referred to here as “LAM,” “lammers,” “wolves,” “whiners,” or “howlers.”)

LOL.

Sondra, I had seen that site last year, but I had forgotten about it. I hadn't seen his attack on you!

When people tell how the Lord Jesus changed them and made their lives new and then others insult them, we can only conclude that those who are angry are actually under some conviction. If they actually had the peace and forgiveness and freedom of being made alive in Christ, they could never disparage the new birth of another. A true miracle of God cannot be duplicated without the actual Spirit of God working.

The anger is the natural reaction of darkness bumping into light—and God is at work on the hearts of the "reactors". Have you ever noticed that cognitive dissonance is one of God's powerful tools?

Yes--be thankful. You are being ridiculed for the sake of Jesus. I don't say this scornfully or arrogantly. I say this simply as an echo of what Jesus, Paul and Peter say in the NT. Don't be surprised; count it all joy; a servant is not greater than his Master.

And I AM praying for him. I realized today he is scorning not me, or LAM, but the work of God. None of this is our doing! In that, he really needs our prayers.

My son, who it really ticked off said.. we need to start a website called saps r us .com

haha. I laughed really hard. witty kid.

Now I'm going to go read your story :-).
Hope it prompts others to read your story and for the Holy Spirit to work on the hearts that do!

Did anyone see his post about Phil's story? He smugly dimissed the scapegoat problem as merely an unimportant issue of "goat identification"!!

Here's a link to Sondra's story: http://www.lifeassuranceministries.org/proclamation/2008/5/faithstory.html.

I found it really moving--and also Phil's story, which this guy dissed last year. Here's a link to Phil's story:http://www.lifeassuranceministries.org/proclamation/2008/4/faithstory.html

This is the first time I have heard of this blog.
The least he could do was copy your story so people know what he is talking about. God knows the truth and that is all that is important.

If he talks in court the way he does on his blog I would hate to have him represent me in court.

On fb are you in the blog formers or the adventist blog?

River, I did not see your idiot you posted on his blog.
I am going to go back in and leave a message and I am sure he won't post it either.

Sondra,
I put a message on his blog and he printed it, shock shock as I took him to task for not printing your story but only twisting it.
I could not resist as he made me soooo angry with his tactics.

River, you did not make the cut, sorry.

What the man says is not important, the important thing is that your voices are being heard.

Whether the Adventist church likes it or not, your voice is being heard.

You might say that you're a burr under the Adventist saddle.
