Jan and I are just back to our motel room and what a FAF conference. We met many new faces. Many with names on the forum and many just simply new. All are now embedded with love in our hearts.

All the speakers were wonderful so I will just mention Dale’s lesson this morning on the "Faith of Abraham" taken from Romans Chapter Four. His study cleared up a long time mystery for me.

Jan is ‘charged’ and wants to come back next year so we can be with our new family.

P.S.
Yes River, I took lots of pictures.

Glad you got there safely. It is so nice to meet any former when at the reunion. Have a safe trip home now.
I will patiently wait for you to post your pictures on Facebook.

I had to miss Saturday and Sunday. We will have audio or video files available, right?

It really was an amazing weekend. Mark Martin on Friday night was powerful. He spoke about The Line In The Sand: Adventism and the Gospel.

He was passionate and did the best job I've ever heard anyone do of summarizing what was wrong with Adventism into one talk. As he spoke, beginning with his own story and moving into the problems with SDA theology, spending some time on the Clear Word and reading texts from it, summarizing as a whole the unbiblical impact of the weight of the false teaching of Adventism, the entire room could feel the heaviness and darkness of the organization. I was moved to tears by the overpowering reality of the darkness and confusion that was my identity for over 40 years. People who had never been SDA were jolted and realized Adventism wasn't what they'd thought. Oh, my goodness...it was amazing.

Carolyn Macomber's faith story was also really powerful and moving, and Steve Pitcher's faith story on Saturday outlined how he became Adventist after being Christian because of Walter Martin's statement that SDA was a Christian denomination. He told how he exited fifteen years later, partly by the insight he received from hearing Walter Martin with William Johnsson on the John Ankerberg show.

Cheryl and Woody Granger's story was also really moving to me; Woody accepted Jesus last year at the FAF weekend during Dale's breakout session when he was teaching from Galatians. What an amazing story!

Richard will be posting both audio and video of the general session talks online. It won't happen this week, though...we're needing some R&R for a bit...talk about TIRED!

Greg Taylor couldn't make it from Pennsylvania because of snow, nor could another couple that was coming. Dale's talk on Romans on Saturday was really good...he's a gifted teacher, and he's passionate about the gospel and he loves Romans.

One young woman who has been studying for a few months prayed to receive Jesus as her Savior on Sunday afternoon after lunch. It was a wonderful ending to a really great weekend!

I praise God for His faithfulness.

P.S.

When we left the luncheon Sunday and Redlands this morning it was as if a part of us was being ripped off and left behind. Jan and will be back...Lord willing.

It was totally powerful weekend. It touched me in deep places that I didn't expect.

Colleen, that is so cool about the young lady! I saw Janice tonight and she told me. Praise God!

Jan & Phil, it was so great to meet you! I can't even put into words what this weekend meant--and to think of all that Richard & Colleen have done for all the FAF weekends, all that goes into it to make this such a wonderful God experience--wow! They are God's servants. Not to mention Dale & Carolyn and all the others that worked so hard for God in pulling this off.

The love between all of us brothers and sisters in Christ is really a taste of heaven on earth!!
