Hi friends, From time to time God brings new experiences into our lives to refine and shape us. For me, He has chosen colon cancer. I was recently diagnosed at late stage 3 and have started radiation and chemo prior to surgery, with more chemo after surgery. Don't think that the drugs have addled my brain, but I actually am looking at this as a type of blessing. Every day He is drawing me closer to Himself. Every day He is giving me fresh blessings. Every day He is teaching me how to submit to Him more fully. I praise Him! He is my King and I will trust Him! I don't know what His plans for me are, but I know they will be good plans. My deepest desire is that my experience may glorify His name and reveal His power and love in a way that draw others to Him. Dane | ||

Dane, May His treasures abound for you at this time - and as you've said - they already have. I've been studying John 17 and Christ's prayer for Himself, His disciples, and those who would believe after the disciples. Christ also prayed about glorifying the Father ...
