WAKE UP!

Besides this, knowing the time it is already for you to wake up from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is nearly over, and daylight is near so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the army of light.

Romans 13:11-12

Are You Sleeping?

You are out there right now and you might be sleeping.

You might be living a daily life of work where each hour seems like a year, and the commute home is filled with cig alerts. Perhaps you are a stay at home mum, or single parent and your days seem like they never end. And finally when you drift off to sleep you know you only have a few hours until you wake up.

But what if you were sleeping?

What if you have been going to church for years, two days, and sometimes even three days a week? What if you are on committees, attend board meetings, and even work with the youth of your church, yet you were still sleeping.

”Then will they also answer, “‘Lord, when did we see Thee hungry or thirsty or homeless or ill-clad or sick or in prison, and not come to serve Thee?’
They didnt know when....were they on to problems or on all about Jesus?

If I understand you correctly you're asking about this group of people and why they were lost.

These people are composed of unbelievers and people who attended churches all their lives but DID NOT have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Therefore they did not recieve the Holy Spirit and were not saved.

Their problem was simply that they never sacrificed their ambitions and their lives to the Lords will.
