I posted these on my blog earlier but here they are just for us to discuss. Romans 7 (Arise) After the fall, we’re pointed to the Law; which points us simply to the Christ. When we repent, He is heaven sent; the Spirit seals us and saves our lives. Though we are saved, we’ve misbehaved; it is the sin that is still within us. We wish we would, do what we should, yet we are filled with such disgust. Through Christ the old man is dead. Yet sin still rears its ugly head. Through Christ the old man is dead. Yet sin still rears its ugly head. Through Christ…Arise! What’s goin on, our sins are gone, as far away as the east is from the west. And still we sin; it seems we cannot win, though we try to do our very best. We want to cry, we don’t know why; this doesn’t seem to make a bit of sense. We truly know, our lives do show, the Holy Spirit lives in these earthly tents. Through Christ the old man is dead. Yet sin still rears its ugly head. Through Christ the old man is dead. Thanks for posting these lyrics, Ross, I like the way they show both sides of the struggle for us and still are very hopeful for us who are in this warfare every day. Martin C | ||

You're welcome. It was a good challenge and will probably need to be refine slightly bu for a couple of hours I'm quite satisfied with Arise. I should do more lyrics based on scriptures. |
