I heard this Poem yesterday on the radio.

excerpt:

And do you know and do you understand that your words are His words?
That your face is His face to someone like me?
Please be who you say you are. "Please, God, don't let this be another trick,

Jim,

Thank you! These words really resonate with me. I too was fearful and "afraid to breath" when I began to experience real Christians. I wanted it to be "real this time" too. She put to words something I have not known how to express. All I have ever been able to describe it as was me being scared. I love this poem, thanks for sharing it.

Thank you Jim. WOW!!! It brings back good memories. Seven years ago I was blessed by God and got to know my half sister better. God put me in her path to help her heal. In Aug 2005 we were talking on the phone. She told me I was God to her. I reminded her I was not God. When I hung up I prayed about this and God let me know that she was seeing Him in me. The next day when I went to church the pastor said in his sermon "You will meet one person in your life who will see God in you". I cried because that had just happened to me. Every day I pray, use me God. I want the people I meet to see You in me.
Again, thanks for the poem.

Thank you, Jim! At first, every time I heard the word "commandments" in a sermon, I had the same reaction: "Please, God, don't let this be another trick!"
