Wow, it's been forever since I've been on here! I have new work responsibilities(like someone else's job as well as mine) now. And it has really cut into my FAF time. Darn work!  Anyway, I took a big leap yesterday. I posted a blog about the Sabbath on my FB page yesterday. Maybe FB was not the place to engage my brother for the first time...but that's how it went down. He responded to my post to "set me straight." My little brother is extremely intelligent and has studied his bible more than any other person I know. He is also hard core SDA. He intimidates me to say the least. Especially since I am a newbie to the New Covenant. It would be easy for him to trip me up. A couple of other formers jumped in and I made a couple of comments back to him. Then his wife jumped in(sort of shocked me). I think I did ok...but I'm sure I could have done better. If anyone else would like to jump in and maybe shed some light for him, please do. It's on my page under "The Sunday is not the Sabbath." I need to get to reading on here and catch up! My work should slow back down after the first of the year and maybe I'll be back on here more then. Miss you guys! LA | ||

Leigh Ann, I had missed that post, so I went back to review. You sure got a lot of input!! I thought you did an excellent job!! You were kind and spoke up and I am proud of you. I thought you kicked butt and held your own and maintained a respectful and loving tone. I came in late to the discussion...but posted my observations anyway. I've been reminded more than once this week that even if it seems fruitless to say things on FB and get in these endless discussions, we are planting seeds. I've been thinking a lot about how the seeds that were planted before I was seriously questioning were used by God to help me study out. Keep talking. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so! | ||

LA, Please remember that You plus the Holy Spirit trumps anybody with a high I.Q. who doesn't know the real Jesus Christ. For example, I have a high I.Q. and know it counts for nothing when I am wrong about something. And, I am betting you are a lot smarter than you give yourself credit for.
