This morning I was thinking about the meaning of the names of my children. My son is Joshua and it got me thinking about the story of Joshua and Caleb. I decided to look up the meaning of Caleb and of Moses. I was very excited about what I found. Just wanted to share. :-)

Moses means "Saviour": Even after all of his deeds and devotion, the one wrong act of hiting the rock caused him to loose his entrance into the promised land.

Joshua means "Jehova Saves"
Caleb means "Faith, Whole Hearted, Devotion"

Because of their Whole Hearted, Devoted Faith in the fact that Jehova Saves when they were faced with giants and called to do the impossible, they were the ones God chose to lead the people into the promised land.

I LOVE how significant the meaning of names are in scripture!!!!
