I want to remind everyone who can to sign up for the 2011 FAF weekend in Redlands, California. It will be from February 18-20, and this year we are offering classes all day Friday.

We recently sent a questionnaire to our LAM donors asking what subjects they wanted to see addressed in Proclamation. The most frequent response was "the rapture". If you're of the same opinion, you won't want to miss the first meeting on Friday: Mark Martin, who will be here for the whole weekend, is leading with a seminar on The Rapture. He and Dale Ratzlaff and Jonathan Bilima will be presenting five subjects on Friday: the rapture, the Sabbath, the human spirit, judgment, heaven and hell. Friday morning seminars begin at 9:00 AM.

There will be a break so people can go get dinner and take a nap, and the opening keynote meeting (to which the local Christian pastors are invited) will begin at 7:00 PM. Gary Inrig is giving the keynote talk on Friday; he will speak on Contending for the Faith and will talk about why Trinity Church supports the FAF ministry in this community.

Greg Taylor will give the morning devotional on Saturday; Mark Martin will present a general session on Why Go to Church, Dale Ratzlaff will speak on Choose Your Mountain (from Galatians 4), and Jon Rittenhouse will return to present on the topic, How To Know if You're Born Again.

Break-out sessions will be led by Dale Ratzlaff, Mark and Leslie Martin, Greg Taylor, apologist Jim Valentine, and Martin Carey, and Greg Taylor will lead us in communion Saturday evening .

Sunday morning Mark Martin will speak at 8:00 on Why We Go to Church On Sunday, and we'll all join Trinity for second service afterward. A fellowship lunch for those attending the weekend will be held again at the home of a Trinity family in Redlands.

You an find out more details and sign up for the weekend here: http://www.formeradventist.com/weekends/fafweekend2011.html

I hope to see you there!
Colleen

I looked at the hotels and they are too high classed for me, have they got a 20.00 a night rat trap where they serve road kill?

Coleen,

I am hoping that the sessions can be video and audio taped again.

For those of us who are unable to attend it is a good way to stay in touch with the discussions.

Looking forward to those recordings!
Praying!

We will be recording the general sessions and putting them online again. BTW, if anyone needs a scholarship/place to stay, we have a limited number of scholarships and homes available. If you need such a thing, get in touch with me!

I'm grateful that FAF is recorded both ways--video and audio. I'll be looking forward to listening/watching these after the sessions are done.

You can still register. In fact, we'll take registrations right up to the weekend, although if you know you're coming in advance, it will help us with counts for ordering food. Hope to see you there, Freeatlast!
