Re: the young boy who recently murdered his parents...the articles all say they went to an EV Free church, but one article describes the father as leading an SDA prayer group & the family as also attending church on Saturdays...anyone heard of this? | ||

It's in the Denver Post--(I'm still working on the 'link' thing)...  Sorry, I probably should have posted this unpleasant issue in the members section...My husband pointed out the "church on Saturday" mention...it isn't mentioned in most articles. I hadn't even read about this sad story & now I'm a bit curious. This just re-enforces that you can never tell from the outside what's going on in the inside of a family. When I hear something horrific like this I have to wonder what was going on. And it brings back past abuse issues that were kept a secret. (Although I'm not saying that's what happened). But something went very, very wrong. | ||

Thanks, Hec, for putting this up.--(I'm still up doing income taxes)...some of the other articles said that they were so religious that they attended both a Sunday AND a Saturday church. |
