Hi , Colleen Best wishes to you on your testimony about Adventism. I was thinking about how Adventism got its start by a bunch of date setters who never repented from that delusion, and how when there date setting did not come true they fabricated a whole false theology to cover their tracks. I'm sure your testimony will speak to those who are under the spell of the May 21 crowd, who are in all likelihood about to experience "THE GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT II ", and maybe some adventists will see the parallels. I find it amazing that your testimony is being aired the day before the 21st. God bless, Chris | ||

I agree, Phil. Colleen, you brought so many great points to the attention of Todd and his listeners. You could tell, as he himself admitted, that he was very surprised at the depth of problems within Adventism--and there wasn't even time to address many of the additional teachings! I was disappointed, though, that he didn't ask what Adventism teaches about the Trinity, and there was no discussion of their belief in Tritheism. You probably needed another hour in order to just summarize all of the additional false teachings that there wasn't time to get to, such as the Investigative Judgment/Sanctuary, Satan as the scapegoat, Ellen G. I just listened to this for the first time. I thought you did a good job and the host was very good (reminded me of a Christian version of Mancow). But I found it interesting at the end that even he didn't seem to understand the covenants too well. | ||

I know, Bskillet...that unnerved me a bit also. But actually, it's not too surprising; a lot of Christians don't understand the new covenant very well. I'm convinced that's a subject we must talk about whenever the opportunity comes. it is the core of what Jesus did! Colleen | ||

Isn't Kirk Cameron associated with them? I've seen them take to the streets and ask people about whether they think they are good people or not. Don't they use the 10 commandments for that? |
