I want everyone to know that the new Proclamation is now online. The cover story is a close look at the great controversy worldview and how it creates a culture of deception for Adventists, even those who don't think they believe in EGW.

I've got to share an amazing thing: last Friday a member of our FAF Bible study brought a copy of Adventist World, the free magazine that goes to all Adventists monthly, to the group. It was the July, 2011 issue, and it has a feature story on the 100th anniversary of the Great Controversy. I could NOT believe it...I had no idea they'd be promoting and featuring the Great Controversy...especially now.

Our article comes out just after theirs...

Martin Carey has written an very interesting, well-documented retrospective on the Robert Brinsmead Awakening phenomenon...and the faith story by Bethany, a child of the King, is very powerful.

You can find it all here: http://www.lifeassuranceministries.org/proclamation/2011/2/index.html

Don't miss the downloadable chart comparing the great controversy worldview with the biblical worldview. It's inside the great controversy article.

Enjoy!

I'm still reading through your article on the Great Controversy world view. Just reminds me how sick, wicked, and downright blasphemous Adventism is.

All in God's timing :-) Hoping many who read the Adventist review will also get the Proclamation and see and compare honestly.
Looking forward to reading. Thank you sooo much Colleen and Richard for your time and work putting all this together for all of us :-)

Thanks Colleen and Richard. This has been very helpful. The dot point summary of the GC worldview is an eye opener. It really is Another Gospel.

~Thank-you, Colleen~
I Praise GOD for giving you the stamina to
complete this much-needed article~
I remember awhile back you asked for prayer
to be able to finish this article~you were
feeling under spiritual attack among other
things~ I plan on sharing it with some of
my "Christian" Bible Study ladies~ they too, need
to be awakened from their apathy regarding
the 'pernicious' doctrines of adventists!
~May GOD continue to Bless you & Richard~

Thank you for praying. Richard was even saying last night that the difficulties surrounding this issue were all out of proportion. It's no surprise to me...but God is faithful, and we thank Him!

Great articles. I'm still reading and digesting, but the visual of "Where is Satan?"

GOD
Creation
.Satan

was really powerful for me.
As an Adventist with the Great Controversy View the illustration would have looked very different.

GOD SATAN
Creation
I love the powerfulness of GOD in the illustration and the little red dot under the tree on the ground as Satan.

~Colleen~
One of my two daughters came to take me to lunch after church this morning~ after which we came back to my apartment where we read & discussed the "G.C." article~! we both have been "out of adventism" for many years~ my daughter found it enlightening that both of us once believed all of the "egw" 'world view'! my daughter is going to put the "two world views" on her FB page & also the link for the article, which we agreed was a good idea~ she has several 'sda' friends on her 'friends list'~
Thank-you again for your "Labor of Love"~

It's interesting how clearly the Bible puts Satan in his proper perspective and place. He's just not out there opposing God; he's a defeated creation under God's sovereign control and oversight.

What a relief!

I read your article last night Colleen. YES, Satan was defeated before the cross. He cannot do anything unless God lets him. Jesus Christ is triumphant and victorious and always has been.
Thank you awesome God.

Mine arrived yesterday. Dale's short but thorough article hit the ball out of the park. With the bases loaded.

I have often said to Richard that Dale is one of God's gift to the body of Christ. His Bible studies are amazing.

Slowly re-reading the GC article. I thank God for this clearly written expose of the foundation of what we all once believed--oh, yes, it is such another 'gospel'! Such an up-side down, inside-out piece of work; "inside information" that gave us all the secret knowledge that was hidden from every great Christian evangelist, missionary, author and martyr! What did they know?!

Thank you, Colleen, for the work you put into this article and your faithfulness to Him in explaining what is so unBiblical about adventism to those we love. I thank God for Richard and his creative, thoughtful work in the magazine. I thank God for every person who has written such wonderful articles throughout the life of this magazine. I just re-read Carolyn's article on integrity this morning and it gave me such encouragement. Thank you, Carolyn! Chris Lee's article (in the last issue, also) on Easter really blew me away. Wonderful.

God is sovereign, in control and has called Richard and Colleen to a vitally important ministry that blesses each one of us and will continue to be used to call out many to the truth of the gospel.

I don't think that it's overstating it at all to say this GC article is going to have profound, far-reaching effects.

Every article is encouraging and gets me studying the Bible even more...
