Does anyone remember the link someone posted about chakra sites?I think they were the actual pages.....and guess what color the chakra site is that is over the heart? Does anyone else remember seeing this?

The Kellogg interview also mentions the scent of violets during one of her visions by an eyewitness (or would that be a nose witness :-) ?)

I just came across the site: ellenwhitedefend.com and in the children's section it has stories of "little Ellen" which talks about the green cord and other stuff and another section about the visions and dreams of Ellen White.

So very thankful to be out, along with my husband and daughter.

I totally agree with the oppressive spirit of Adventism. There is a darkness and a heaviness that surrounds it.

Carol

Sorry, just saw that someone else posted this link to that site.

Nowisee, I think its the same link I stumbled upon.

http://www.archive.org/stream/EllenG.WhiteUsesMasonicWords#page/n35/mode/2up

I also read in the Occult Wiccan Encyclopedia that a Green Cord is given to those who have moved to the second level in their craft. The have attained a level of Priest or Priestess of the Lord of the Harvest.

Talk about breathing an "unholy influence upon someone".

Matthew 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Matthew 12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Matthew 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

As demonstrated by Paul, a Christian has power over the spirit forces that keep Adventists in a captive condition.
Jesus disciples came back rejoicing that they had power over these spirits and the disciples were the fore runners/active participants in the church that was soon to be born.

We have power through Jesus name and not of our own to go out and bring deliverance to the captives. That includes Adventists. However, if the person does not care to be delivered, I would think that you could make matters even worse than you found them.

I think to do any good for a person steeped in Adventism, he/she first has to be delivered from those forces that are binding them from hearing. That’s where the guidance of the Holy Spirit comes in, because he knows things about that person that you may not know because he knows the very heart of that person. Nevertheless, it doesn’t lessen the power God has given us over these spirits in his name so we need to be guided by the Holy Spirit when dealing with Adventist and not go and worsen the situation.
IMHO

~Thank-you, River for your post~ I believe it is very important to pray for the release of 'strongholds' (egw) for adventists~ until this happens it is next to impossible for them even to show an interest in anything other than adventism~I am an example of someone who had these kind of prayers going up for me~Words cannot describe my gratitude~ In fact, this coming Sunday afternoon I am going to be baptized as a Christian~(in the Pacific ocean, no less)~I was baptized at age 11 into the adventist church, by a pastor(who shall remain nameless) who was later found to have been committing sexual misconduct with one of the church members, a person I was well acquainted with~
The GOOD NEWS~ GOD is Faithful and I am FREE of the curse of adventism & praising His Holy Name!
~*~mj~*~
~A post-script~I have been out of the adventist church for over 15 years & attending church, first 'Harvest Christian Fellowship' in Riverside,Ca & now for over 5 years a Calvary Chapel in Orange County, Ca...several Sundays ago the pastor announced the opportunity to be baptized & the Holy Spirit seemed to whisper, "Daughter, now is the time"~ I am really looking forward to obeying His gentle urging~ !

Mjcmcook,

Fantastic AMEN! I hope that soon I will be able to be baptized INTO the BODY of Christ, like so many of you have as well.

Amen!

mj....I go to Harvest Christian Fellowship in Nebraska! I just got baptized this past June (5th) into the body of Christ. Holy Spirit prompted me too to get baptized this past spring. I am sooo glad I did!! For me it was very symbolic in dying not only to sin but to SDAism and leaving it in the grave and coming up out of that water into the "new life" "life of Christ...resurrection life". I see that day as a dividing point in my life....the old is gone, the new has come.

~Praise GOD,lynn, You were also obedient to the Holy Spirit's prompting~ As Sunday approaches I am becoming even more grateful for my listening & obeying~ Thank-you for sharing with me~

Wow,

There is so much to be found in the mysticism of EGW. I never heard this before. I wonder what SDAs would say (well maybe I don't wonder as much as I wish somebody did this) if a picture were painted with her holding this green cord out and beside it there were a picture of somebody in wicca doing the same thing

At minimal this is wierd and at worst occultic. My wierd sense of humor almost makes me want to get a bunch of miniature green cords attach them to pieces of paper with this quote on it and hand them out at my local SDA church and see what their reactions are.

Leigh Anne----too funny I can picture the "holy dixie cups" in my mind now :-)

Enoch, I LOVE your sense of humor! I didn't believe the green cord thing (crazy!) until I looked in my parents Early Writings book and sure enough--there it was.

I think you could use those cords/quotes in a mighty way! It's really creative and they'd have to stop and pay attention. I have challenged a few SDAs with that 'vision' and none have been able to give me an answer re: it.
