Driving home just now, I heard an interview with an interesting author who has written a biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. One thing he said jumped out at me: Hitler used the "language of faith" to entice and deceive the largely Christian population of Germany. (Bonhoeffer saw through Hitler from the beginning.) Thought the idea of using Christian language to deceive might be significant to those of us with SDA backgrounds....

Oh, Nowisee, that is so interesting...and I suspect this could happen again on an even larger scale than Adventism.

Speaking, however, of Adventism deceiving, Richard and I watched the following meeting from the Annual Council held in October, 2011, at the GC headquarters. We already know about 2012 being the year the SDA church is disseminating The Great Controversy like the leaves of autumn around the world in the indigenous languages.

Well, it doesn't stop there. 2013 is the Year of the Cities. There is a carefully organized plan to begin systematic evangelism in the cities of the world, with each world division picking one significant city and holding evangelistic meetings there as well as conducting a field school of evangelism concurrently to train the local members to continue evangelizing. Then they will pick a significant city from each union and do the same, and then each local conference will do it.

Their goal is to reach approximately 650 major cities in the world with evangelism and training by the 2015 GC Session.

This is not buckshot-type evangelism, where they broadcast and hope local churches pick it up. This is carefully choreographed infiltration around the world in significant, highly-populated areas, and it follows the "entering wedge" of TGC distribution.

Check out the sermon outlining the plan (and notice the artwork that portrays Jesus as the "way show-er" and the guardian of the cities.

Isnt that just like Satan wanting to appear to the world to be just like Jesus. First it was Satan wanting to be the Savior by teaching he is the Scapegoat of the Jewish Day of Atonement Ceremony.

Now Satan wishes to be the Holy Spirit portraying himself as the sower in the Parable.

God help us all!

I just finished listening to this and I continue to shake my head. This is definitely very intentional in its focus and sadly there was no mention of a personal relationship with Christ. I couldn't believe how much Ellen White was quoted by this president. They have not changed and are definitely going backwards into traditional Adventism. The one good thing (if there is such a thing) in this is that this is incredible evidence to show an evangelical as to where this denomination is at. There was no deception in this presentation, meaning they were trying to appear evangelical. And then in the prayer, the man praying said "There are many other evangelistic campaigns going on that are sponsored by the evil one". I don't think he was referring to Muslims or other extreme religions. So my conclusion was that he was referring to us evangeicals and implying that we are led by Satan. Pretty sad and scary thinking isn't it.

When I feel overwhelmed thinking that people will get sucked in to false theology because of this plan I am reminded of the Scripture: "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world." I think that we need to be very intentional in our praying, continue to alert the Evangelical pastors as to what is going on and share Jesus with those who will listen.
