This is Peggy Green, and my Face book site has been copied and aSalton Smith Jr. has been doing something bad, I haven't seen a copy of it but some of have. He has gotten a lot names from my friends and I want to warn any of you. We are doing our best to get the site closed down but the process seems slow and some damage may already have been done. Peggy that person is Sultan Smith Jr. He is masquerading under Peggy's name and copied her profile. The only difference is that the picture on her real profile has a photo of 2 people. The false profile has a photo of Peggy taken from her profile. This person contacted me this morning trying to get me to contact Sultan and I would not. My instincts(God/Holy Spirit) told me this was fishy and I told the person so. I told him I was going to check him out on the internet. I did check him out and found nothing. I let the person know I found nothing. Of course I thought I was talking to Peggy. Then this person said trust me, I got money from them. BIG RED FLAG! Diana | ||

One of my techie friends suggested that everyone the impersonator has contacted change their password. Said it was a good idea to change it frequently anyway I am posting this here because when I did get on the fake site they had taken FAF and when I tried to get a list of my friends to notify them I can't find them on my site and I can't get on the fake one anymore. | ||

River if the picture of the "Peggy" who asked to friend you was a picture of only Peggy, It was not our Peggy. It is the fake Peggy. Our Peggy's profile picture has a picture of her daughter and another person. Diana | ||

I am just about done with Facebook anyway, I had three people who used to be on the forum and one still is block me, that tells me that they no longer want me in their life in any shape or form and that hurts so deeply that it is hard to take. Its a gift that keeps on giving too. It probably stems from a life of AvPD, but no matter what it stems from, the pain shoots so deep it is almost unbearable. Sometimes I feel like being the lone wolf I was, was far better than running with the pack. Sometimes I want to go back to what I was and blank everybody out of my life and lose myself again in science, technology and the arts. The only thing about that is, I don't think its possible to go back, guess I have to live with the new me and when it comes right down to it, its better than living in fear. River | ||

Ok. I don't think I could anyway, once God takes you out of a place, your pretty much free, the old symptoms linger on, but you are different somehow. Somebody said on here one day, "I am tempted to go back." I just smiled to myself because I knew he couldn't. I suppose a person might stubbornly rebel against God and bring it back on himself, but thats not me, I love him too much for that. Why would a person want to bring bad things on himself anyway? I've inadvertently hurt others, pretty much made a general mess of things. It's too bad there is someone making a mess of facebook. I kind of liked keeping up with friends who have moved on from the forum and into constructive Christian lives. The purpose of the facebook page from the beginning was so we could share family pictures and get to know one another better for the ones who live all over the world and maybe never have a chance to meet. Going back so reminds me of the description Jesus gave of the man who died and found himself in a place not to his liking. Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. God protects us by fixing a gulf so like each other or not, we’re on this side and they are on that side, whoever they is. They is they. I went on Facebook and found the false Peggy. I looked and I couldn't find myself on the friend list, I think I remember it was two people in the photo, so I guess it was legit. Yeah Colleen, I have to keep repeating to myself that we are saved, safe, and victorious through and by the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will cause us to stand and not fall. When we are at our weakest, he will lift us up. River | ||

Maryroses, for heavens sake no, I am not blocked from your page. Of course we don't agree! But I love you and you are my friend. I understand the differences between the Catholic/Eastern Orthodox church tradition and the twenty thousand different views of the protestants we got out here because..sheeeeeii..don't tell any body, but I went to cemetery. If I ever get too rough and hurt you friend, all you gotta do is say, "Hey River..stick a cork in it!" I'll get the signal loud and clear. I don't intend on doing that mind you, but just in case I was to you understand. A true friend will be willing to say, "Stick a cork in it." Rather that let a friend do his own self damage. Speaking of friends, just here this week we had a 14 year old boy stick his fathers gun to his head and pull the trigger, I thought, "Oh my, what led that poor young boy to think he had nothing to live for?" What great things will he miss by taking his own life? Graduation? Wedding? Children? Not to mention the suffering of parents and siblings. Thats what friends are for, to help other friends not feel so overwhelmed that they take a gun to their head. That may sound like I'm being dramatic but I seen friends die. Believe me, thats more dramatic. River And Gail, I think the gorge is full of snow. Even I don't run the gorge this time of year. Stay warm and (((hugs))right back at ya. | ||
