Mmmmm good. Adult Bible study is taught by a 4th year seminarian at Concordia. We studied gifts of the spirit found in 1st Corinthians, mainly the gift of tongues. This was a "Bible ONLY" study. No canned answers from the quarterly and those little red books. One thing surprised me, the teacher had a minor disagreement with the assistant pastor over what the gift of tongues actually was. It was an honest differing of opinion, there is apparently some wiggle room on the issue. Man oh Man! Talk about a Christ centered service! It was an honest admission that we are all sinners and our need for Jesus. I cannot count the times I was reminded that we have a Risen Savior. Since leaving adventism I have been so unsure of what I believe. I feel like Paul's jailer. Christ is the only thing I have been sure of.
