Praying both for the requested prayers on here and for the unspoken prayers on the hearts of so many.

Since the Tinker's are probably much to busy to mention this, I thought I would:

They will be traveling tomorrow to attend the wedding of their son, Roy.

Let's lift them in prayer for traveling mercies and that the wedding be a time of great joy.

Please pray for my wife. She has been effectively terminated from her position and she is suing for racial harassment and unfair employment practices. The details are way too long to get into but she's scared (we bought a house that we are moving into this month) and her self esteem has taken a major hit.

Please pray that she wins the case, has peace through the process, finds alternate work soon & that our finances will be stable.

A praise report in this whole thing is that though my wife is not a Christian her lawyer is and when we left the meeting with the lawyer Joy said "God is good...." and went on to list a number of reasons why though this is a tough time she can see God working in it. :-)

Praying for all the above--we have been gone for awhile and I got behind on the forum.

God has reminded me not to be lazy in praying for all of you--the more busy/stressed I am, the more I need to make prayer the first thing, not the last. I consider praying for you all on this forum a privilege. Dennis, I am so sorry--and the delay is a stress increaser, huh? I will ask God to help you through this--when it strikes our children, oh how we need God to increase our trust in Him. Remember how much he loves your daughter!

Enoch, also so sorry to hear of this trial! I know God will use it to His glory to show Himself to your wife. Keep trusting Him!! We really need to encourage each other and bear each other's burdens!

Diana, keep trusting God! He will not let you down and will walk through this with you. I will ask Him to provide patients. My prayers for God to watch over your son, too.

When we are at our weakest, He is at His strongest. Let's encourage each other not to give up and remind each other how powerful our redeemer is...

My mom asked for prayer for my SIL & BIL...my SIL is the kindest person and is going through her own trial with her parents who live a long way from here. Even after 'Weimar living', they are both really unwell. Because they are strict sdas & knew the Lord was coming any minute, they were very unwise in providing anything in any way for their old age. My SIL flies to their home once a month, cooking,& caring for them. They have no money (well, very little),(so my SIL helps support them), a home that needs work (no heat or A/c and live in Redding where it gets pretty hot in summer). They have always lived a spartan life. They refuse to move down to SoCal due to the sinfulness of the area even though this would take a tremendous load off my SIL. She works long hours and this is taking a toll on her. So any prayers for her would be much appreciated. What has triggered this request is that she feels like she must quit her job, move to NoCal and care for them. I think she's over-tired as this would not be a good idea.

My daughter has informed me this morning that lab tests have verified that cancer cells did not affect her lymph nodes nor go beyond the uterine wall. Thank you for your diligent prayers. Truly, we serve a prayer-answering God.
