This may sound a bit strange.
But,
Why should I change my style :-)

I was reading some stuff on this forum a couple of days ago, and I really felt that God was speaking to me about making much more of an effort to help the church here in Hungary understand the phenomenon of cults, and how to defend their own faith, because, to be honest, many don't have a clue.

Just as I was getting this information from the Lord, there was a knock at the door, and it was two Jehovah's witnesses, which I took as a confirmation, that God really does what me to do something.

The problem is, I have no idea where to start. So I am asking you all, who understand, please to pray for me for some specific steps I need to take. The problem is very serious here, believe me. (Though there is some good stuff happening too!)

Thanks,
Adrian

Please pray for my Mom, she is 98 and had a heart attack Thursday,,, she has assured me thaty she does believe in God and in Jesus Christ and that Jesus came and died on our (her) behalf for our sins. I posted this on the regular forum and was told that this apparently is not enough ? can someone please tell me what else an ill 98 year old woman needs to do to be saved more than belief in God and Jesus Christ ?

Also, would appreciate if you would please add me to your prayers as I spent a few hours in ER last night with high BP and rapid irregular heartrate 150/161 bpm.. found out my potassium level was low so they treated that and did a change on medication... hope that takes care of it.
I am continuing to pray for those on the forum whatever your needs may be.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
When Paul and Barnabas were in prison in Phillipi and there was an earthquake the jailer was told by them in Acts 16:31 "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
Praying for you and your health.

Praying, Francie! You take care of yourself, too, OK? When you get a minute, please pray for my son Jeremy & his family--for healing from stress and to begin attending church again. Also for a Christian friend for him.

Please let us know how you are doing and also your mom.

Nowisee, praying. Francie, just saw your request. Praying for you now...as for your mom and her beliefs, God knows. You can trust Him. If she "needs more", God can reveal Himself to her in a way and in a place (her spirit) that does not depend upon cognitive function and verbal ability. He is faithful, and you can trust Him not to abandon her just because her body and mind may be compromised. He knows her heart, and He knows how to speak to it.

Thank you Colleen, I believe that also. He knows her heart, and I do trust Him to hold onto her and reveal Himself to her in what ever way she needs.
It helps to "hear" it from others though. ya know...? So, thank you :-)

Thank you all, too. You can't convince me we don't pray to a powerful God. I am learning in reality about turning over my worries/deep concerns about two humans I love with all my heart--telling Jesus I will trust Him with the situation and coming to really believe and know He can handle it. Wed. the pain that was so tremendous Mon & Tues.'lifted', thank You God. The circumstances haven't changed, but I have peace when I trust God totally, give it to Him and ask for His redemption in such painful areas.. I believe He can redeem, not just what I am going through, but whatever pain each of us has in our lives.

Your prayers mean more than I can say.

My mom fell yesterday and broke her hip—actually, she broke her right femoral neck right below the ball of the hip. She also cracked her right wrist.

They're planning to put a pin into her leg on Friday; until then she's in traction while they wait for the coumadin to leave her system so she doesn't hemorrhage.

She's 85, and we know the issues she faces post surgery. All this is less than two years after she had her mitral valve replaced; these physical crises take their toll in many ways.

I'd appreciate your prayers for her outcome and healing, for our wisdom to know best how to help her and manage the future. The good news is that she is in a retirement community with step-up levels of care available.

Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Praying for your Mom and your family as you go through all this. It can be very worrisome at her age.

Oh Colleen, you have my heart & my prayers. Three years ago I was going through all of this with my 95 year old father. I know what you are facing.

God will give all of you strength & wisdom. He is with you all. In the best of all circumstances, it is still hard & heart-wrenching to experience these things.

Asking for your prayers for my sister in law Melody. Today will be really hard for her. Four years ago today her daughter Rayanna died (her only child).
