My son has been falsely accused of a very serious crime against a child. We have been living a nightmare of worry and fear for the past year and a half. He hasn't been allowed any contact with his own children in all that time, even there were no allegations that he did anything wrong to them. DHS is just being extremely controlling and it's ruining our lives.

Tomorrow is a hugely important event in this legal process. The defense attorney will depose the child and will hopefully get her to tell the truth. We believe she told the original interviewer what she believed the interviewer wanted to hear, as that happens a lot when children are questioned by a persistent interrogator.

I would greatly appreciate your prayers for this monumental step in this nightmarish legal process.

Thank you all so very much!

Honestwitness, I'm praying for you and all involved that the truth will come out. I teach young children and know how leadable they are. They are natural pleasers and generally tell people what they want to hear.

I pray the Holy Spirit will give you supernatural peace, comfort and wisdom during this time and especially the deposition tomorrow. I'm asking god for a godly judge, lawyers and social workers who will seek truth about all else. I've watched god change the players in different situations in answer to prayer.

I'll be thinking about and praying for you tomorrow...

I've worked in the legal field as a paralegal for 20+ years covering just about every aspect of the law; worked with fellow Court Appointed Special Advocate's who are appointed by the judge to represent the best interest of children in the court of law. I've worked for the DA (prosecutor) and I've worked for attorney's representing accused offenders. God has always called me to pray in this vocation. I will be praying for God's divine intervention and encouragement for you and your family.

Thank you all so very much for your encouraging words. The deposition will take place in just four hours. I'll let you know later today how it went.

Deposition did not go well. Child stuck with her original story. My son insists she's lying. He's very perplexed, crushed, and numb. We're talking now. Please continue to pray. He could get 10 years in prison or more.
