Sondra, MSG is bad stuff.... Chinese food sometimes has it, so always ask.
MSG always gives me a migrane.
Praying for your healing.

Selling a house is not as hard as we're led to believe by real estate brokers. Of course if you don't have the time to do it yourself, that's a different story, but on the other hand no agent has the same interest in selling your house as you do... No agent can answer the questions regarding your property as good as you can. In my old country we say "The wolf has a strong neck, because he does the job himself".

I listed with an agent for 5 months, but the house didn't sell. Even during that time I showed the property about 9 times to potential buyers I found through my own advertising and the agent showed it 5 times. When the contract was up I decided to "fly solo", did more aggressive marketing, prepared an information package that I gave to all interested parties and sold the house in 40 days. Praise the Lord.

Sondra, my mom had some problems with her gallbladder. She was told by her doctor many years back to do something simple for cleansing. Once a week take 10-15g (2-3 teaspoons) on Magnesium Sulphate in a cup of warm water in the morning. Just make sure you don't have to go anywhere outside of the house that morning, because you'll run to the washroom a few times. According to mom her symptoms disappeared after a month or so and never came back for 20 years now. I have some pain in this area too, ultrasound shows nothing abnormal, but I plan to do the cleansing my mom did and see if it works. I'll let you know... and don't try anything yet before I confirm with my mom.

This morning in church, my daughter (who has a prescription drug addiction) responded to the altar call and confessed Jesus as her Lord & Savior and expressed desire for baptism. She said she knows she can't fight the addiciton on her own, she is turning her life over to Jesus. I am crying tears of joy as I write this.

Please continue praying for her....I know this is answer to prayer.

A Praise report. My son told me two weeks ago he was to go overseas some time next month. He would be gone 6 months as he was going to be working with the Army.
I just finished talking with him and he told me the Air Force tells him he does not have the right kind of experience. That means he will not be going overseas this time. THANK YOU AWESOME GOD!!!!!

I am excited, because I recieved news last night that one of my prayers has been answered, but I am not at liberty to say what it is. Let's just say I am really 'up' today.

It did not come to pass. The patient has not been scheduled yet. I pray about it every day and tell God, it is in your hands. Thanks for the prayers.

Though the issue of my last prayer request has not fully been resolved--or at least manifested yet I still am compelled to praise the Lord in the answered prayer section. My wife's termination and law suit that she has filed has taken an unpleasant turn. My wife is scared but at moments has this incredible peace about the situation. Because we have not told our families about her situation, so they don't worry, she has chosen to be more open with me in discussing her fears as well as her moments of peace.

We are finally in our home which is a major answer to prayer. We have been scrimping and saving and between the two of us have been working 5 jobs. The job she lost was the biggest check but we are in our home and God has blessd us. Joy has said she wants us to have prayer meetings and church gatherings here so I am excited about her being around my church family and the positive influence they have had with her.

I'll close here with a request for prayer in all these matters as the Lord leads you to pray

I also wanted to close a put a link to this weekend's devotial through David Jeremiah but it looks like the devotional stays for only a day so I am copying and pasting it here. It blessed my heart so much that I am praising the Lord and wanted to share it.

Direct Communication: Circumstances

After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them.
Acts 16:7

Multiple times in a day things happen that influence or change our plans. Yet how many times do we say, “Thank you, Lord. I trust that this change is from You.” How often should we say that? Is every single circumstance, large or small, a message from God?

When the apostle Paul and his coworkers were intent on going in one direction in their missionary journey, they were stopped. We don’t know how they were stopped; we only know that Luke attributed the circumstance to the Holy Spirit’s intervention. Writing in hindsight, Luke realized they were stopped from going to Mysia so they could go into Macedonia (Acts 16:8-10). If we really believe God is sovereign, that He has ordained our days (Psalm 139:16), then a strong case can be made for circumstances being signposts from God: either a new direction, a new correction, or a lesson in patience, submission, or seeking God’s will.

At the very least, we know God is guiding us toward at least one goal in every circumstance, good or bad: conformity to Jesus Christ (Romans 8:28-29).

The Holy Spirit loves so to arrange men’s circumstances that they are brought within the sphere of God’s influence.

God answered something I have praying about for a while. My sister, ML, asked me last January if I wanted to go to Mexico, on a cruise, with her and our JW cousin. At the time I was working enough and could afford it and said yes. Today she called me to tell me she was not going. I am glad she did as I have not been working enough to afford it. So, I praise God for this answered prayer. Thank you awesome God.

Another answere to prayer. I was just called by the hospital. I have an evaluation to do on Monday and will see that patient 3 times a week.
I asked God to answer in a way that I can understand. He did. He is so awesome that way.

Just last Saturday, out of the blue, my oldest son, called me and we had a wonderful, pleasant conversation. I know that God has been at work healing this horrible situation, and I thank you all SO much for your prayers. It's so hard to ask for prayer sometimes--I guess it makes me feel pretty weak and vulnerable...since the end of May, I have had the worst pain because it involved my children and grandchild. I don't understand it all, but I know God is real, is really there, and hears the prayers and sees the tears of His children. Thank you all...and thank You, God.
