Just a little update on Jan’s condition:

It snowed around here and we have ten inches in our driveway. The clinic called and said the doctor couldn’t get out and make it to the clinic. So, checking Jan's leg and seeing that the swelling and redness had receded and she was feeling much better I decided it was prudent to keep her home. So, I went into town, purchased some appropriate first aid supplies and came home. Couldn’t get the car back up to the carport so it is fortunate that Jan wasn’t with me. Don’t know how I would have gotten her back into the house in all that snow.

Thanks for all your prayers. Right now the cut is not pretty to look at but she should recover just fine with a rather impressive looking scar.

PS
I'm using this unsceduled time at home to continue on with remodeling our master bedroom. It will include a ramp out the bedroom exit door but that part will have to wait for better weather. Just put the door in about a week ago so right now it is a two foot step down to the ground.

Right now Jan is having a lot of pain in her leg around the wound area. Don't know what is wrong. Except for a lot of drainage, it looks ok...all things considered.

I really need folk who will take it to heart to prayer about something that is very vital.

A very smart and aggressive lawyer took my case on contingency a couple years ago and now, and it has been a long and protracted legal battle with a California government agency I used to work for. The case is nearing the final critical parts.

The evil that transpired left me psychologically bludgeoned, demoralized, and virtually unemployable. I've been living these past several years in a tiny, isolated town in the middle of Arizona's Sonoran Desert--the only place I could afford to purchase a home after what happened.

Those that will, please pray that God will prick the conscience of the superior court judge who is presiding over this matter. It we can not obtain some degree of justice for having my career and dream of a Calpers retirement stolen, I it is very hard for me to imagine having a vision for a future. If we come away empty handed I can not see how I would be able to relocate to a more urban area, for I do not have enough equity in my home to afford it.

I am currently over 100 miles from Phoenix or Tucson. Relocating nearer an urban may be the only way I can reenter mainstream life, and risk trying a new career.

I've probably said too much. I just really needed to be understood, to help make your prayer focused.

Thank you in advance to those who will prayer with me about this thing.

God's Peace

Father God, I thank You for Jesus and that He died and was resurrected for us. In His Awesome Name I ask you to take care of the situation for Walt. Be with the judge presiding over this and see that justice is done. I thank you for caring for my friend all this time. I thank you that he knows you and loves you. Thank you for taking care of this.
Diana

ps...I will continue to pray for you.

Dear Father, please be close to Jan and sustain her and strengthen her. Please relieve her pain and heal her wound, and give her and Phil peace and a profound sense of Your presence with them.

Father, please provide for Walt. You know the details of His situation; please give him the courage to trust You with all those details and to trust Your faithfulness. Help him to live in Your accomplished victory and not in the fallout of transgressions done to him. Please give him Your courage and hope and be all he needs.

In Jesus' name,
Amen

Dear Walt,

Since something similar occurred to me I sure understand your situation and will be praying. In my situation God gave me a whole new career even though I didn't really deserve it. What our loving God did for someone like me he certainly will do for you. How God provides though is something we must leave in his hands and trust he will give us his best.

As for Jan, we ended up in the hospital because the doctor at the local clinic thought she might be having a heart attack but are now home and her wound is doing just fine and so is her heart. It seems the drainage of her wound (four inches long and to the bone) is normal in her situation even if it does look like a tiny waterfall seeping out of her ankle.

Praying for Jan and Walt too!

I would like to ask for prayer also. I have a frozen shoulder which took about 9 months to be pain free, but the pain is gradually returning.

After more than a year of trying to earn money, I have been unsuccessful, trying to keep fear and despair from taking over. I made it through last year but almost not a day goes by where I don't think that I would be better off jumping off a bridge.

Kiki, Have you been shown exercises on how to loosen your frozen shoulder? I have had it really bad on the left and not so bad on the right. Do them every day and sometimes 2-3 times per day or the pain will get worse. I have experienced that.

I want to thank you all for your prayers from my last time I requested prayer. My work and finances are a bit tenuous right now and I'm on sick leave and just about out of funds. All being well I can return to work in about 3 weeks but based on what has been happening with my company I am likely to be laid off or fired. I am truly trusting God now for a new job and/or a miracle in my finances and ask for you to agree with me in prayer

The plus side of being off is that I can spend time in study with the SDA fellow that I requested prayer for who is married to a church sister. He and I have been meeting and he has been open. In studying Galatians he has said he has read it before but has not SEEN the old vs new covenant explanations before

He is wanting specific proof that the sabbath command has ended-as he can see the law ending but not the sabbath command. At this point he is wanting to see something that explcitly says the sabbath is Old covenant and done away with He has been kind and respectful in our study so far but there is a veil remaining and ask that God will remove that veil

thanks

Enoch

Thanks Diana, please remember to pray for me. I applied to a job today, hopefully God will open doors for me soon. Feeling discouraged.

Enoch, I will pray for you too!
