Just saw this and am praying for Rusty and Sheri. I have glaucoma also. So far it has not affected my vision. I am seeing a specialist this morning about the testing that was done last week. I have asked the doctor what I can do to help it and I will ask the doctor today if there is anything I can do so it will not get worse. Diana | ||

Update Jan was able to come home yesterday. Her leg wound is much better but not totally healed and it has been almost four months now since the injury. Her strength is much better and the infections are under control. Life is better now that she is home. Phil | ||

Dear friends, I would appreciate your prayers so much. Last week a large tumor suspected to be ovarian cancer was found in my pelvis. I am having surgery next Wednesday. They are gutting me, hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy and debulking surgery if the tumor has spread. Please pray. | ||

The church God told me to attend has expanded and has grown quickly. It is planting a church in Kingman, AZ. They are renting from the SDA church there. About a year after I started attending Central Christian Church near where I live, I took the pastor about 4 books written by former sda ministers. I told him why. He told me that the man who investigated sdas (forget his name-senior moment) did not say sdas were a cult. I told him they lied to Walter Martin (finally remembered). Now they are renting the sda church to plant a church in Kingman, AZ. An academy friend of mine, who is still sda and attends that church, told me they invited the Central people to their agape luncheon and foot washing ceremonies. I am praying that God through Central touches the hearts of the sdas and brings them to him. I know the sdas will try to convert the Christians who go to Central there. Please remember this in your prayers. Diana | ||

Praying for you Kelleigh. I'm so sorry about your health problems. I was wondering if I could get some prayer for my dad, guys? He's going today to eat a meal with his mom, sister, some other people, and a guy named Jeff Pippenger, whose name you might recognize. The man's teachings are not biblical and are more radical than SDA teachings. I am praying that once my dad meets the guy and hears him in person that his teachings put Dad off as if someone stuck rotting food under his nose. I am so afraid that Dad's going to become more radical once he meets this man. | ||

Thanks for asking and thanks for the prayers. As far as I can tell he really enjoyed the meeting. I'm thinking that maybe he missed out on actually talking with Pippenger himself but still attended the meeting where Pippenger and people of the same persuasion were speaking. I won't ask Dad directly what all went down because then I'll get a long-winded talk about the beliefs and why I should believe them and I just don't want to hear it, to be honest. | ||

My friend Jill is in intensive care with a dissected cartoid artery at the base of her brain. She's scheduled to go to Ann Arbor to see if anyone there is willing to operate. Surgeons here say it's too risky because of the location. She is in danger of having a stroke. She's having extremely bad headaches, but medication is helping a lot. She is believing a God for a miracle. Right now, she's sharing her faith with everyone that comes into the room. Her husband and kids are (understandably) quite upset. Thanks for praying! Also, please continue to pray for Rusty and Sheri. Rusty has eye drops, but the damage already done is very great. The drops also increasing become less effective. He's already noticing that he needs more and more stronger doses. They have to go to Ann Arbor They don't have insurance and he is unable to work. They are about to lose their house. Although not believers, they are asking for prayer and receptive to just about anyone who tells them anything. They have to drive to Ann Arbor for eye appointments and have a very old worn out car. Sheri can't afford to take time off work and gas prices are so unafforadable. Many at school are helping them financially, but it just seems like little drops in a 20 gallon bucket of need. Please ask God for a miracle for them, too. Thanks! Rain, praying for your dad's protection. The spiritual dangers are almost more needy than the physical ones. Kelleigh - I'm praying for you!
