I have a couple of prayer requests. One is for my daughter who has distanced herself from spiritual things for about 2 years now. She is in my prayers and God has been healing many wounds and issues of anger in her but it is still tough.

Second for my wife who is Jewish and anti-Christian as far as her personal beliefs. She is less anti than in the past but my prayer is she will come into a relationship with Yeshua (Jesus) and accept Him as her Savior.

My third request is that I might have wisdom and understanding as I meet with a group of men from different churches this evening for a season of prayer. We are seeking God's will for our group and for each of us individually, in a ministry to other men and to the youth of our community. We are a disparate group from many walks of life and levels of maturity but united in our passion to save souls and reach out to youth.

Carol, I will be praying for your daughter and son-in-law and family.

Roseheartgirl, I understand. I accepted Jesus the best I could when I was around 10 also, and I know he was with me all this time, ultimately leading me out of Adventismóto my total amazement!

Father, We praise You for all You are,We thank you that you are working in our lives and that all things work together for good for those that love You and are called according to Your purpose. We trust that all satan has meant for harm You will turn around for Your good and we praise You for our trials that make us stronger and closer to You.

Comfort Carol and give her peace in dealing with her son, guide him in your way. Be with Carol (2) and her family, unite them in You and draw her daughter to you as well as her other kids. Be with Richard in his new mens group, do a mighty work with them for Your glory and bring his wife to an understanding of Jesus and salvation. Draw his daughter to You and bring that family into your perfect will.

Bless all on this forum and I thank You for bringing us together to edify eachother and grow in You. Bless the new members and lead us all in knowledge of Your awesome grace.

We love You and praise Your Holy Name

Thank you all for your prayers. While the mediation went well as far as 2 people being tolerante of one another( the mediator said he was proud of them)it is still so hard for anyone who doesnt't know about this religion to appreciate what the non SDA is saying since if you say you are "Christian" then you believe like all other Christians? right??? WWRROONNGG.

I feel a positive about this is that my dauhgter has become such a strong person thru this. Early on she would just become frustrated and cry when trying to discuss something since he would either ask a question on top of a question or not say anything.

Again I say Thank You and God bless you all for your words of hope.

I agree with you about people not really understanding about the church from the outside. I do not understand it now myself now after about 7 months of freedom. When I try and talk about it with others to warn other christians to know fully what the Bible says for if you do not you are prey for the A church. I have fullfilled Pope Ellens prophesy those who leave will become their worst enimes. I do feel pain for those I love still there but I also tell everyone I know about their deception. Well keep the faith. We all know where you are coming from and we even have more problems because we once were sucked in. Lots Love Terry

Please pray for the families and friends of the crew of the space shuttle Columbia. At about 9:00am EST the shuttle was on its descent through the atmosphere on its way home from its latest mission when it was lost over Dallas, TX. Eyewitness video shows a long trail of fire from the shuttle followed by several pieces breaking off. You may already be hearing about this as you are waking up this morning. NASA has declared a state of emergency and the crew is presumed dead. PLease pray concerning the situation.

Yes, Joel it certainily is a tradgedy of great magnatude. Do you remember when the Challanger was devistated back in 1986(?). That one was destroyed on its accent. The one today on its decent. It it such a great saddness. Also, could you all please pray that I can learn what is going on with my husband and my car. Several times today a collect call has come from my husband that he's in jail. We have a collect call block though so this is all I know. I'm sure my sweet man will be o.k., he can handle jail. However, I am incredibly concerned about my car. I still owe two years of payments on it and I don't see how I will be able to afford a big impound fee and a towing fee. I just have been hoping that whatever he got popped for that he was hoofing it and not driving my car. Last time he got my car impounded the impound yard only had the car around five hours until I got there to rescue my car and it cost me nearly $300.oo. My husband has been in jail three times in the last five months. Please, please, and a lot more pleases, pray I will be able to get my car back. And, pray to that what he gets busted for he'll realize the problem is getting a bit out-of-hand and some personal changes are called for. Thank-you.

Good news. I got ahold of a mental health worker that I dealt with many years ago regarding issues I was having at that time with one of my children. Even getting ahold of her I believe was a miracle as normally 4-1-1 doesn't give out cell phone numbers and when I called information and asked for her number I was given the number of her personal cell phone. So, I spoke with her about the issue at hand and got some excellant advice. Then I called the pastor where I attend weekly services but he wasn't home. I was getting desperate with my conscience bothering me so I went over to St. Pat's and asked to speek with a spiritual cousoler/advisor and Sister Regina just happened to walk right in, another miracle. She is such a dear lady. We went into her office and I laid my burdon at her feet and she took it to our Lord in prayer. Now I know I have been forgiven by my God. I have yet to make it right with the one I have wronged and I can't do that until 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. And, this I truly intend to do. Sister Regina is such a wonderful lady. I remember when I was a litte girl just wishing so much that the Seventh-day Adventist church had nuns so I could be a nun when I grew up. I remember telling people when I was still very young that I wanted to be a nun when I grew up so I could work for Jesus but that my family was Seventh-day Adventit so I couldn't be a nun. Fotunatelly though Sister Regina became a nun and she sure is good at nunning. Thank-you Jesus for forgiving me of my tresspasses and thank-you for my dear friend that was once a mental health worker when my child and I were in crisis and thank-you for blessed Sister Regina. Amen.

GOOD NEWS UPDATE! I went to the agency that I stole?, embellezzed?, got fraudently? some funds. I was honest and bared my soul in repentence and remorse. They are going to work with me in paying it back. Everyone's prayers were wonderful as our Lord and Saviour knew I was truly going to make that wrong right. And I did and I will continue until what I owe is all paid back. Thank-you, Jesus.

Susan,
I just must tell you your post beat mine but I didn't see it until I put mine up.

I did'nt have time this morning when I was on to post anything and then thought of you and came down to say I was praying for you.

Notice the time frame of our posts.

Is God working in our lives or is He just sitting up in heaven looking down on us and shaking His finger. I know what my Abba Father is doing and He does it because He loves us just like 1 John 4:10 says In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation(the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.

Even though I know how He works in my life I still marvel everytime it happens.

Just waiting for more of His marvelous works,
Carol
