Susan, I'm sorry I didn't see your posts here until just now. Each time I visited the forum I had limited time, and instead of starting at the bottom, I started reading at the top.

I'll continue to pray for you.

Please keep Fr. Beto in your prayers that he will soon be able to come home. Fr. Beto is very young and he is doing his preist internship here at St. Pats Church. Fr. Beto is a native of Mexico and still holds a Mexican citizenship. We have a large Spsanish speaking population in our area and Fr. Beto is the only Spanish speeking preist for our vacinity. Several weeks he had to go down to Mexico. Now the United States immagration won't let him back in. This is a major thing for the folks who would like to hear the service in Spanish as well as having a spiritual counselor who is of their culture and knows their language. He is such a nice, dear, young man and we need to keep his soon return in our prayers. Thank-you.

I have been blessed with the companionship of the most wonderful, dear, sweet kitty in all the world. His name is Smokey. He did not come in last night and I have not seen him all day. I think I hurt his feelings because I used to give him so much love and attention but I have been very pressed for time lately and my dear precious Smokey has been neglected. Now I haven't seen him since yesterday afrternoon. Please, please and more pleases, pray that my loving, wonderful Smokey comes home. Oh, I love ,my Smokey so much.

Susan, I have a cat named Smokey too. He leaves for a day or two at a time but always comes back. Don't worry about hurting his feelings. They are pretty independent. I'm keeping you in prayer.

Thank-you because I was totally freeking out about my Smokey not coming in for the night. I could not sleep at all and finilly around 3:00 a.m. I went out and called, "Here kitty, kitty, kitty" and he came running up on his soft, furry little legs. I'm so thankful that he's back home where he belongs. Talk about being back where he belongs-my youngest child got to come home yesterday from juvenile hall. He's hooked up to an electronic monetering device so he's not going anywhere too far. My husband is in a county jail somewhere south of me. I assume he is o.k. or he'd be in a hospital. I talked with him on the phone earlier today and he says he doesn't know or remember what happened. I think I know. I think he was drinking and driving. I sure hope this is the time that he learns a lesson about that because often accidents that are caused by drunk drivers end up ewith extreme tragady. Please keep the situtation in your prayers. Thank-you.

Susan, my prayers for your family and for you are continuing.

Smokey seems to be a popular pet nameówe have an absolutely wonderful collie named Smokey. (He's gray instead of brown or black.) Maybe the name Smokey makes pets sweet!?

Susan,

I am very glad for you that your child is home where he is loved, much better for him.

I pray that he will appreciate the importance of freedom not only from possible futher incarceration but freedom that comes from knowing our salvation is secure.

Praying also for your husband that as he has time to reflect that God's spirit might move in him and give him a peace and joy that only comes from Him.

To all,

I have emailed Janice and asked forgiveness for airing my frustration on this public forum. I realize after reading my post for the umtenth time how this happened. My sentence I just want to make the point that if we belabor the point of which Bible is best and this one is no good etc. etc. what will that do to someone who has come to
Christ using the Bible you are attacking.

I just want to add that when I thought later of how I should have handled this better I thought I should have done it personally and then thought but I do not know how to contact her and then I remembered she had left her email address, and now as I am writing this I realize also I could have sent it to the contact. But oh how marvelous our God is and even in error He goes before us so that sometimes we have to eat crow so the next time we will think twice.

When writing this sentence I was including myself as I stated "we" and still was including myself when saying "you". I ask forgiveness for poor use of grammer and still would pray that you understand what is in my heart.

Please pray that we all as one in Christ might be made whole. Your sister-in-Christ,Carol

Please pray for my birth mother Jane. She never has known Christ or had any faith in him but now she is living with an atheist and has told my sister she doesn't believe in heaven. When I have asked her to pray about something she said "I have prayed about things and they always go wrong!" She consults psychics and when her last husband died (not long ago) the psychic told her he was in heaven with his mother and safe and happy. This was a terrible deception! Not that I am a judge, and I know God works in mysterious ways but...he never confessed Jesus, was not interested in God or religion in the least.

This psychic gives the idea that if you don't do anything horrible you get there anyway! Can you see how damaging that is? That says you can not look to Jesus to save you but you get to go anyway if you behaved not too horribly.

Now she doesn't believe in heaven at all! Please pray for her.

A prayer request for my 20 month old granddaugter who has been running a fever for the last 3 weeks off and on. Tests have shown she has a Strep B bladder infection and they are going for more tests tomorrow. Her white count was higher today than it was a week and 1/2 ago.

They are planning to do a sona gram at some point to see if there is a problem with tubes to kidneys. My daughter-in-law does not want to do this until after their baby is born in April since she would not be able to be with her since they would be using some radiation also???, not sure about all this, I talked with my son and he has a bad cold and so I didn't want to make him talk an longer. My son would like to get it taken care of as soon as possible.

Granddaughter is not to happy about the blood tests and the 2 catherizations she has had to endure.

As well, I'll also add yourself in my prayers and your entire household.

I ask for prayer in behalf of the innocents in Iraq and other countries and our soldiers in this seemingly upcoming war. Also, would someone join me in praying to God in behalf of our President, to lead him in the direction God would have him go and no other.

My prayers also extend to the United States of America that we may learn the ways of God, Jesus the Christ.

In Jesus Christ Name, I pray this. amen.

Carol, I will also pray for your granddaughter. And Denise, I'm also praying for the president and God's people everywhere who are threatened by this war, including those in the US who are threatened by the possibility of terrorism and the unknown.
