Just to encourage anyone who would like to pray about the weather...all of our church "Harvest" was praying for the hurricane to let up so the North Carolina Harvest Crusade could go as planned and guess what? The weather was beautiful and they had 34,000 attendees in a town of 35,000...so let's not be so sure God is not in control of the weather!

This list of prayers is taken to the Lord every Wednesday by former SDA's so please know that this is taken very seriously and let us know about the answered prayers...thanks!

Praise God our Lord Jesus Christ. I have a prayer request. I recently broke up with a woman I met at a bible teaching Sunday church here in Sacramento Ca. During our 3 month dating expirence, she related some of her beliefs, Seventh Day Adventist beliefs, Soul Sleep, keeping the Sabbath etc. I related some scriptures, 2Cor 5:6-8, Col 2:16,17. Well we agreed to disagree. She broke up because "she needs to be obedient to the God", and has since gone back to Keeping the Sabbath and getting reinvolved in the 7th day Adventist church 5 nights a week "were they teach the truth". Her name is Tracy and she still goes to Sunday church and is involved in an exellent 6 month weekly womens bible study there. Pray for her, that the Holy Spirit will speak to her and reveal the real Truth, JESUS CHRIST. Pray also for me, that God will use me in any way to share material and resources He has directed me to. Also pray that she not drop out of Sunday church. This is all real fresh, 3 weeks. Thanks for the prayers, blessings to you. I would appreciate any correspondence for encouragment.
Thanks Glenn

I would like to give an update regarding the FAF group in Maryland. This is something that is in great need of prayer. It was suppossed to begin last month. But the newspaper announcement did not run as intended. Also, I was very sick with a flu that week. I strongly feel that the enemy is doing battle. Anyway, it has not formed yet. God has sent several former sda's and seekers my way in the last few weeks. This has been a wonderful answer to prayer. The paper that the announcement will be running in comes out tomorrow. Please pray that the info. gets into the appropriate cities (last time the announcement went in the wrong area) and that those who are in need of this support will see it. The next meeting date is scheduled for Nov. 3 at 7pm. I think that 2 people will try to come (the husband is a former sda and his family is trying to recruit the family back into the church, his wife just wants to learn more). I praise God for this opportunity to share Christ and the freedom that life in Him can bring! Thank you all so much for your love and prayers.

Thanks Sondra for your encouraging words and your prayers. Mine is a difficult situation in that emotions are still very much a part of any interaction I have with my ex-girlfriend. They (the SDA church)have indoctrinated her thinking so much that she related to me the reason she broke up with me was because I was "fearless" before God. That I have a "sloppy, syrupee, God is Santa Claus" Grace, not a reverential fear of God, the Judge. Well thanks for your Prayers, I too am praying for you and your support group meeting tonight that all in attendance be blessed and an encouragement one for the other.
Love in Christ

My prayer request is that the Clear Word Bible (CWB), would be drawn back from the market and the church leaders would see the dangers in this kind of Bible manipulation.

Not me, it's just one more thing among many that the SDAs have in common with all the other cults. The more ways they expose their true selves the easier to expose them for what they are. Besides if the CWB were taken out of print, it wouldn't change a single doctrine. All the CWB does is put the doctrines in one place where they can be easily located.

Lord Jesus, forgive me of the pride and foolish arrogance of believing all my early years as I was taught, that I could be persecuted for believing the sabbath, when all the while my brothers and sisters around the world were being persecuted and killed for believing in You. Remember those around the world on this special
"Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church", who suffer, die, and are enslaved for believing in your name. Aid them in their suffering. Give them strength to endure and wrap your loving arms around them when they come home. Give me eyes to see and a heart to feel their pain. May their suffering be used as you promised "for the good", and may their suffering and dieing be used to bring their persecutors to know the grace that only you can give.

May I never again take my eyes from your cross for anything, and may I be willing to take up my cross, whatever that may be, and follow you.

Thank You for all things, the good as well as that which we may wish to be delivered from.

In Jesus Name

Amen

Dear Father,

I praise You for the Adventists that came to Dale Ratzlaff's meeting last Friday evening. May they find the true Sabbath Rest that only You can give."Come unto me and I will give you rest."

Give them courage to study the Bible to find out what it really says. Send your Spirit to guide them to the cross, the place of healing and new life.

Thank you for your limitless Grace and Love,

In Jesus Name, Amen

Richard, that was a beautiful way to say what needs to be said -- to God that He work in all of our hearts so that our witness to our "separated bretheren" may be unfettered with the concerns of the flesh, such as feeling better by "making points." Thank you for that insight.

For, "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives." 1 John 2:8-10, NIV.

Richard I think you can also pray that the seed that was planted in their mind will be sealed there. That even before the need for the courage to study in the word, they will be hounded by curiosity to see if the things they heard could just possibly really be in the Bible after all.
